Majority Quadriga Music System DAB+/FM Radio - Black

Compact design

I have had the Quadriga for a couple of weeks and overall it's a nice system. I haven't used the provided aerial as I have a loft DAB aerial with a socket where the set is situated. I have also, via RCA leads connected up my iPod station. So I get internet radio, dab+, my own albums from my iPod and of course the cd player. I have also connected the set up to my phone via Bluetooth all this connectivity was easy. My only issue is that sometimes on the radio stations the tone changes to a dull rather than clear sound, then reverts back later. The cd's and iPod music is not affected.

Fantastic sound, with good reception and easy menu system. Love it. The system always sounds good, but sometimes with certain songs it is an absolute joy to listen to. Has a proper off switch too, which sounds daft but I'm absolutely fed up with systems where the software crashes including the soft off. Great design.

I didn't realise there was a machine like this out there. It offers a variety of ways to listen to music. However, the internet radio is great; you can choose a genre, and it then lists all the available stations for you. The setup is easy, and the machine does most of it for you. Sound quality is brilliant.

Surprisingly Good

I bought this sight unseen based purely on the reviews on Richer Sounds. Setup was very easy, just enter your network password and the unit does the rest. My main concern with hifi kit is sound quality and this unit does not disappoint. My favourite test cd went in first and the track that often reveals problems passed with flying colours. Its œstompin at the Savoyby Harry Connick jr. The piano heavy thrashing about was handled with ease¦no distortion or muddiness. The sonic range is very good with a rich bass and full sound. In short¦i'm very impressed. Internet radio is simple to navigate and as we live in a radio/cell blackspot finally means we can listen to radio from around the globe in crystal clear quality. Would definitely recommend it.
