Very nearly what I need, but not quite
I bought this because I have a new car and a lot of old CDs. Of course, new cars don't come with CD players or even AUX sockets, so I needed a portable standalone player with Bluetooth or USB connection. I've found that the Oakcastle is elegant, well-constructed, robust, long battery life, and seems better than anything else on the market. But, while it remembers the last-played position on the CD, it doesn't remember that it's meant to operate as a Bluetooth device, and needs to be set up again for every journey. And although my car will play music through a USB-C connection, the C100 won't - it only uses it for charging. So I have to go through the process of reconnecting the Bluetooth every journey - a lot more hassle than just getting in and pressing "play" as I had hoped.

Bought to use in the latest car as no CD player fitted. Comes with all the leads needed to connect to car audio. Like that battery is rechargeable in the car. Easy to use. Great buy.
