Dont buy this phone
Hi i returned this the day after i bought it no instructions tried online and couldnt get them. It was supposed to be easy use for my elderly father. The SIM card that was supplied was the wrong one it should of been a micro one .

Nice phone
The phone I bought from Argos was faulty: it would not detect a SIM card. I returned it for a refund. Argos made the returns process very easy, thank you. I then bought exactly the same model of phone from Tesco (£10 cheaper as it did not include a £10 Vodafone credit). The phone from Tesco worked just fine and is a nice phone. So if you do buy one from Argos it's a nice phone if you just want something basic.

To disagree with Alicia about the charger I bought this phone a few days ago and it DOES NOT come with a charger. However it does come with a cradle and a USB A to USB C type lead to plug into a charger. But the charger or plug as some call it isnt supplied. I can recommend a very good charger for it a low power 5W USB A charger Argos item 4887016. The TCL phone will NOT take a fast charger as refuses to charge hence the 5W one Ive recommended.

"I can confirm that the Vodafone TCL 4042s 2025 can save messages in draft. The option will need to be selected on the message while its being composed if the user wishes to return to this later. The phone has space saved with in the SIM to store upto around 200 messages in draft."
