About this product
The Dyson V16 Piston Animal is built for homes with pets and long hair, combining serious suction with anti-tangle technology that actually works. It's cordless, runs for up to 70 minutes on a full charge, and deep cleans carpets, hard floors, upholstery and stairs without wrapping hair around the brush. The 900w Hyperdymium motor delivers up to 315 Air Watts of fade-free power, and at 3.4kg, it's manageable for carrying around the house or upstairs.
The dual conical cleaner head adjusts to any surface and spirals hair up to 25 inches long into the bin without tangling. The 1.3L bin compresses dust for up to 30 days between empties, and the CleanCompaktor system wipes it clean. The HEPA filter traps allergens and pet dander. A power boost adds suction, and the motorised floorhead switches between carpets and hard floors. Built-in wand tools include pet, mattress, crevice, upholstery nozzles, dusting brush, and combination floor nozzle. Multi-cyclonic technology and side suction provide edge-to-edge cleaning on carpets, hard floors, upholstery and stairs.

Extremely disappointing
Very disappointed. Would give zero stars if I could. Had to return it. Constantly says it's blocked when it isn't, and cuts out. Far too sensitive. Why do I need to know what size dust particles are being suctioned?! I just want it to clean. For this price I expected better reliability.

Amazing vacuum, I love this vacuum cleaner because it is so powerful and light. It has an amazing runtime and suction is the most powerful I’ve had. The filtration is great and when I do the maintenance it all comes apart so easily to keep it super clean I will always buy Dyson products because they’re simply the best.

Not a patch on the older model it replaced.
I have bought this to replace my previous vacuum. It is not a patch on my last one. Suction not as good, blocks up really easy. Its not very Pet friendly at all. If I could return it, I would. Really not what i hoped for at the huge price.

Disappointed
I bought this a month ago and actually would like my money back. It keeps stopping every few seconds stating debris and I’ve cleaned it out.

Excellent quality
Bought this 2 weeks ago. A little bit pricey. Excellent quality vacuum and does an incredible job of sucking up all the dirt from the carpet and floor. Easy to empty cylinder. Very easy to charge up. Not that heavy either. Highly recommend Dyson for vacuums. Simply won’t use anything else.

I am generally pleased with this vacuum my only complaint is it's quite heavy compared to an upright vacuum which I've always had before. I bought an extra battery which I have found great as the runtime isn't as good as advertised. I like the compression facility for the dirt.

If weight not a problem this is a fab Hoover
100% for Debris collection it compacts waste which also helps to make it so easy to empty 100% on Suction you can feel it really sucking and pulling up the dirt. Battery lasts to almost complete the entire upstairs and downstairs on a 4 bed 3 floor house. One downside for me is it’s such a heavy hoover to manoeuvre added with the strong suction means my mum who has mild arthritis in her hands cannot use a it.

I own 4 handle held Dyson vacuums as I have a 10,000 ft.² house this is not the best one we all been very disappointed with it's performance on the wool carpet It dose not Like you have vacuum we did a test and ran the other hover over the same area and it picked up more carpet dust
