The Dyson V16 Piston Animal is built for homes with pets and long hair, combining serious suction with anti-tangle technology that actually works. It's cordless, runs for up to 70 minutes on a full charge, and deep cleans carpets, hard floors, upholstery and stairs without wrapping hair around the brush. The 900w Hyperdymium motor delivers up to 315 Air Watts of fade-free power, and at 3.4kg, it's manageable for carrying around the house or upstairs.
The dual conical cleaner head adjusts to any surface and spirals hair up to 25 inches long into the bin without tangling. The 1.3L bin compresses dust for up to 30 days between empties, and the CleanCompaktor system wipes it clean. The HEPA filter traps allergens and pet dander. A power boost adds suction, and the motorised floorhead switches between carpets and hard floors. Built-in wand tools include pet, mattress, crevice, upholstery nozzles, dusting brush, and combination floor nozzle. Multi-cyclonic technology and side suction provide edge-to-edge cleaning on carpets, hard floors, upholstery and stairs.

If weight not a problem this is a fab Hoover
100% for Debris collection it compacts waste which also helps to make it so easy to empty 100% on Suction you can feel it really sucking and pulling up the dirt. Battery lasts to almost complete the entire upstairs and downstairs on a 4 bed 3 floor house. One downside for me is it’s such a heavy hoover to manoeuvre added with the strong suction means my mum who has mild arthritis in her hands cannot use a it.

New dyson
I own 4 handle held Dyson vacuums as I have a 10,000 ft.² house this is not the best one we all been very disappointed with it's performance on the wool carpet It dose not Like you have vacuum we did a test and ran the other hover over the same area and it picked up more carpet dust

This should have been good
I bought this and returned it all within one week. I have had lots of Dyson vacs over 20 years. Ranging from the Animal Ball upright, the corded mini, the new submarine (not good for deeper grout), to the V15 cordless. I have two V15 Detects and one V11 for a large house. The idea was to have this new one upstairs for carpet so that I didn’t have to keep emptying it all the time, and my existing was going to be used in my workshop/garage. I have multiple cats and litter trays in all locations of the house - on carpet and on hard floors. The new combined head attachment is awful. It requires multiple runs over the same area to collect litter off the carpet. I get the point of it - to make it easier on the customer so they don’t put their shoulder out swapping multiple attachments. But it’s just terrible at picking up debris on carpet. I didn’t even test it on the hard floors downstairs. They’ve also made the bin smaller … the tube internals are also narrower so it’s easier to get larger debris stuck. I don’t know why they made this vacuum so bad. I would love to know why Dyson discontinued the large carpet-head attachment, it was absolutely perfect for large rooms/houses with lots of carpet.

Easy Clean
This is my 2nd Dyson cordless vacuum My last one was a V6 which I have had for 11yrs and it is still working I have replaces it with a Dyson V16 vacuum cordless Animal This one I have been using for the last 3 weeks and has more runtime greater suction and countless other better and easier to work features Great Buy

Brilliant, love the light
The addition of the light is fantastic, it dhows up all tge dust and hair enduring you clean sccurately. Very impressed. I have had a stick Dyson gor 8 yrs the suction power snd ease are brilliant. The compactor is a super addition and the dusl head for carpet and floor works well for my home with hard floors and rugs. Would definitely recommend in fact my friend has borrowed minr for a trial.

The best dyson cordless they have ever made all the design faults with the older model have been done away with smallest of criticism all the tool and wand have a new design so no backwards capabilities

disappointed
I bought the Dyson v26 piston to replace a old v11 animal I must say I am disappointed with it the angled head does not pick up close to skirtings But most of all it is so difficult to get the stick from the cylinder to empty the wast I think I need to contact them to replace it as it take a lot of effort the only good thing I do like is the quick release from the floor head to allow a pointed stick which is needed because you can get unclose as a said above Is is worth the huge price tag absolutely NOT
