Not as good as previous Shark vacuums
I bought this a month ago as our old Shark needed parts and it was more cost effective to replace it. I felt this one didn’t pick up on hard floor edges as well as the old one, having to go over the area several times. The power cable is so stiff you can’t wrap it and it doesn’t store as well. The auto detect is awkward as the vacuum runs away from you so you have to pull your on the handle. It feels much lighter and flimsier than previous Shark vacuum cleaners and I was a bit disappointed so I returned it after a couple of days. Returns were quick and easy and I received a refund straight away.

Brilliant hover apart from the wire
I absolutely love shark products from the face mask to the knife set to a carpet cleaner and I think there brilliant i purchased this hover over a month a go and this problem i have is the power cord its stiff as anything and if you accidentally go over it with the hover it stripped it down to bare wire which for the price I don't think is good thats really my only complaint maybe you could look at improving that

Feels cheap and doesn't really pick up that well
I purchased the LA450UKT to replace my aging Shark vacuum which was giving up on me and to be honest wish I hadn't now after having it for just over a month. It certainly doesn't feel like a quality product comparing it to the older Shark I had. The only good feature is the fact it can detecct the difference in floors but this certainly doesn't justify the price. The plastics feel extremely cheap and brittle, the power cord is abysmal and after a month and a half is still stiff and rigid. I wouldn't even say it picks up better than my older Shark. When this one gives up the ghost in a few years I'll be moving to another manufacturer such as Sebo.

Step back from my old hoover
This was a replacement for the vacuum I had previously which had been out of warranty. I understood this to be a like for like. On arrival it was noticeably smaller in size however I did like the smaller base as this was easier for me personally to get in to places without using the pipe. The pipe itself is smaller and doesn’t seem as sturdy as the one I had previously. The detect aspect is good I like that I am not needing to change any settings. The on button is in the wrong place it needs to be in the Handle. I do like how I can use the pipe without unraveling the cord which is far too hard And not easy to move round. Moving on to the lift away this should state the lift away is to use the pipe only. No good for vacuuming under the sofas which is the bit I loved on the other vacuum I know have to move furniture which I didn’t before making the vacuuming a lot longer. The smelly bit of the vacuum is lovely but I will never pay to replace it as I think it’s a waste of money personally. Suction is brilliant the collection bucket though is not big enough if you want to vacuum more than one room and have pets you will probably need to empty it every room. Tool storage positions are useless they always fall off and don’t fit snug (this is all vacuums) If I had to purchase again it wouldn’t be this particular one. There are lots of aspects one different ones that if brought together in one would make the best vacuum. You need real people to test these items before sales.

Best hoover ive ever owned
I bought this a month ago and i love it, im hoovering up more often just because i love using it, so lightweight, easy to clean, to move around, not as noisy as my last hoover, overall great hoover

Some disappointing features
Bought this a few weeks ago to replace a previous Shark model. It picks up well but there are three drawbacks: Previous model lift away system was just the dust body, the wand being attached to the motor head enabling easy hoovering under beds etc. This model does not allow this- the wand attaches into the dust body . This is a highly retrograde step and limits the functionality of the machine. The flex is very stiff and this makes it clumsier to handle and stow. The vacuum cleaner is significantly louder than the previous one. So I’m somewhat disappointed with this new model although within its limitations it works well.

Great little vacuum
I purchased this as my old Dyson really wasn't doing the job anymore. Its nice and light , easy to manoeuvre and is almost self propelled. Ideal for me at my age! Only downside is the cable which other people have mentioned otherwise it would be a 5star

Got this to replace our vax pet vacuum
and the 1st use it picked up lots that the vax didnt. I seem really well made and work a treat. Great on pet hair. We are really happy with it so far.

Great product and price was good.
The power and smart cleaning are fantastic. It automatically adjusts for my carpets and hard floors, catching all kinds of debris and dust effortlessly. I don’t even have pets, but I’d still recommend it to anyone—it’s just a powerful, easy-to-use vacuum that works brilliantly for any home.

Fantastic suction
Wish I’d bought one earlier. The suction is great. Carpets look like new after hoovering. Great that it changes from carpet to hard floor automatically. You can lift the cylinder off to do the stairs, which makes it easier. The only downside is how hard the electric cable is. Hopefully it’ll loosen up with use, but it wouldn’t put me off buying it.
