Well pleased
Very pleased, nice and light, lots of useful features, very powerful , splits in half to do stairs, my only grumble is the power cable is very stiff and instead of laying flat the coils stand up getting in the way.

Not great, I was looking forward to receiving this
Absolutely hate it, we had a five year old old model which was so much better! The cord is on the wrong side for a right handed person and the flex wire is so stiff it tangles up and gets stuck on everything. The suction is not the best, I have 5 cats and it takes going over the hair several times for the hair to be removed from the carpet. I'm going to return it if I can. I was trying to get used to it over 2 weeks of using it but I can't, put up with it, oh and my old machine had lift away so you could use the stick and brush unit under the sofa, this one does not do this.

If you want good suction you need this
I ordered this one after my last shark died. Wow I can't believe how much better this one is. The suction is so much stronger, recommend lower the suction when going over a rug or you may lose it. The scent is lovely even on the lowest setting. The cord is a tad stiff but not so much it has caused any issues. I have two dogs and a cat who moults everywhere. Normally it would take a couple of goes to get all the fur up but this one has no trouble sucking it up in one. The only nit pics are the adapter storage is a tad tight. Also my last hoover had the ability to lift off the waste storage to use the main brush under the sofa easily.

Not the same as my old Shark
I purchased this a couple of weeks ago after upgrading my Shark Duoclean vacuum, I was disappointed as it kept stopping I had to keep switching it off and on to reset, it was also taking a lot of fibres out of my carpet and making it feel rough, I like the idea of the air freshener, but I couldn't smell it. I sent it back for a full refund. I had the model before the anti hair wrap, my last Shark which was excellent and still is, it is around 8 yrs old, but I had given it away before I sent this one back, so I've now got to decide which vacuum to go for. It would be great if you could bring back the old upright Duoclean version, I do like the idea of the corded stick version, but I think this would be a good option if it didn't have the flex, and was more like the cordless, bring back the old bristle brush. I thought the upgrade was going to be better than my old Shark

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in need of a new vacuum so when I received the email to be a product tester for this vacuum I jumped at the chance. Im a big shark fan. There is good suction and picks up well, even cat litter. We have 3 cats and it picks up their fur well. I love the auto detect for carpet and laminate, changes seamlessly. It is abit louder on carpet then my previous shark but it's not a bother. Easy to clean and empty. I highly recommend this shark

I really hardly ever right reviews. This product is amazing, the amount of hair and dust this has got out of my carpets is unreal. It's light ,powerful and leave my home smelling fresh, carpets look brand new.
