silicone button developed a hole after 22 months
The silicone button developed a hole after 22 months due to planned obsolescence. The hole became bigger over time, which can let water in. The newer replacement model uses a plastic button which solves that problem. Thankfully they sent me a replacement.

All vibration, no real cleaning!
I have never supported the use of electric toothbrushes—ever—and after trying this one, I still don't! While Philips is a reputable brand, I simply didn't find this toothbrush effective. It only vibrates rather than actually cleaning, and it left me feeling lazy and overly dependent. There is no way a human hand can be replaced by a machine. Since I've already opened and used it, I obviously can't return it, but I would not recommend it to anyone. It doesn't clean effectively, and you still have to use your own manual movement to get any results! Definitely not for people who prefer a natural approach. In the market, there are toothbrushes now for over £250 or even £500, please think 10 times before you spend your hard earned money on this useless and ineffective gadget.
