Trimming lawn edges or reaching narrow spots around borders? The Einhell GE-CT 1828 Li-Solo is a cordless grass trimmer that handles tight spaces. It's part of the Power X-Change family so batteries work across multiple tools. The lightweight design means less arm strain during longer sessions. You'll work comfortably with the adjustable second handle and soft grip. The telescopic guide bar adapts to your height for better posture. This cordless trimmer needs an 18V PXC battery and charger sold separately.
The motor head tilts to three positions and rotates 180 degrees. You'll tackle vertical surfaces and awkward angles without repositioning your stance. The flower guard protects plants as you work close to borders. It's got automatic thread tracking so you won't stop mid-job to adjust. The edging facility switches to vertical operation for crisp lawn borders. A 5m spool comes included with fully automatic line feed. The trimmer runs up to 153 minutes on a single charge.

Excellent piece of kit
I have been looking at going down the cordless route for some time, as it all seemed so convenient. After looking around at various companies I decided upon Einhell. I liked the idea that the batteries fitted everything, as well as the fact that there were different outputs, to suit all needs. Having a battery that fits the different types of machinery, makes things so much easier, take it off one, then use it on another. the streamer is excellent, its sturdy, being made largely out of aluminium, with plastic grips and motor shield. the extending element is great and means you are not trying to suit a factory stated size. The secondary handle can be positioned along the shaft, again suiting your size etc.The motor is certainly powerful enough, with a single strim line. all in all, I am absolutely delighted with this and the other Einhell products I have purchased.

More Lightweight than Expected
Does the job, although it's not as sturdy as I was hoping for. Good for general lightweight grass cutting. Would say it's value for money, but I wish I had forked out a little more for the bigger unit.

Versatile adjustments for trimming and edging
Very adjustable 180° for easy trimming & edging. Utilises spool & line as plastic blades are not really suitable for edging to paving or concrete. Compatible with all my existing Einhell battery tools.

Great Battery Operated Strimmer-gets the job done!
Lightweight, easy to handle as well as easy to take off the battery or change the battery if you have a spare. Good system which enables anyone to buy additional electric tools without spending money on more batteries+chargers that might not be compatible.

A battery strimmer that works
Really impressed with this strimmer, it works so well. The cord auto feeds, shaft length adjusts and is not heavy. Gives the feel of a quality item. Would recommend without any hesitation.

Nice bit of kit !!
Straight out the box this strimmer looked a well put together product. The auto spool is fantastic no need to worry about adjusting the line length anymore " it does it all for you" !! I use it in the garden and at the front of the property , it has plenty of power on the thicker bits of grass and is easy to use .
