Great to dress up old tired divan
Had this divan bed for a few years now, and while there's nothing wrong with it, its looking a bit tired and doesn't quite fit the colour scheme in the bedroom in my new flat. This has done the job nicely, fits perfectly, and now my bed has a new lease of life!

As advised I washed the item before use and was glad I did as quite a bit of dye came out. After I'd ironed it, it resumed it's colour, ironed very well and hopefully will be more colourfast next time I wash it.

Yes , simply lift the valence up and out of the way when accessing the drawers.
NO, it is NOT split at the corners. This BASE VALANCE - ie it lies on the bed base, under the mattress - has FOLDED CORNERS, which are in a BOX PLEAT, so the valance lies flatter to the base, as opposed to a frilled valance.

NO this valance will NOT FIT OVER a DOUBLE MATTRESS!
It WILL FIT a DOUBLE BED, but it is a BASE VALANCE, which means it LIES ON THE BED BASE, ie UNDER THE MATTRESS, NOT over the mattress as you asked.
The BASE VALANCE is 38cm to the floor.
If you put it over the mattress NOTHING would keep it in place and it would not reach the floor - as it is DESIGNED TO LIE FLAT UNDER THE MATTRESS.
