Customers Say
The Cuisinart ice cream maker is easy to use, quiet, and produces creamy, delicious ice cream without pre-freezing the bowl. It has a compact design but smaller batch size and some issues with paddle and ice consistency.

Superb, great price, easy to clean and yummy
Used it everyday in the first week. Made all the ice cream flavours now starting one the sorbets.I also substituted honey for sugar to make a slightly healthier alternative for the kids.

Lovely icecream
Easy to use.I've made a few varieties now ,I like my icecream firmer so have to do the icecream setting twice.you could put it in the freezer to firm up but I'm too impatient. Its a great machine, slushy lattes are the favourite atm .

Whisk broken
Plastic casing that supports the whisk broke on first wash. It appeared rather flimsy considering it has an important job.

Great ice cream maker
Just what I wanted. A compact and very easy to use ice cream maker. It is quick to make ice cream once you have cooled the ingredients. Very pleased with it It does produce quite small batches but not a problem for me

Chill ingredients for 2 hours beforehand.
I bought this 3 days ago. At first I thought it was going to be a bit of a faff as instead of freezing the bowl you have to mix the ingredients and put them in a bowl in the fridge for 2 hrs, or overnight. Which defeats the reason for buying a machine that you don't have to freeze the bowl. However, once the icecream has been made, which takes about 45 minutes it tastes lovely . And so far I've made three different flavours and added chocolate chips or fudge to two of them. Its a great machine, but I've decided the best way is to mix your ingredients the night before, stick them in the fridge overnight or mix in the day but remember you have to chill it for 2 hrs. So disappointingly you can't suddenly decide you want icecream and make it straight away. The quantity made is enough for 2 small bowls or 1 reasonably large portion. Definitely not enough to serve 4. You'd need to make more batches for that. Its easy to clean. Hope that helps.

Hello DaveK,
Cusinart 950ml Freeze Ease Ice Cream Maker:
The Cuisinart 950ml Freeze Ease Ice Cream Maker is made up of a self-freezing bowl that is typically plastic. This bowl is designed to maintain low temperatures for effective freezing, ensuring that your ice cream mixture reaches the right temperature quickly. The bowl is lined with a special gel that freezes when placed in a freezer for about 24 hours, which is crucial for the proper freezing of the mixture.
