The Hotpoint HDG6GDCB1 Gas Cooker makes everyday cooking easy with two ovens and a 4-burner gas hob in one 60cm freestanding design. The spacious 78-litre main oven handles big roasts and batch baking, while the 34-litre top oven with built-in gas grill manages smaller dishes and grilling. Catalytic liners in the main oven catch grease and burn it away while you cook, so cleaning is a quick wipe. The gas hob has 4 burners with sturdy matte enamel pan supports and push button ignition, topped with a glass lid that protects your hob and creates extra worktop space when not in use.
A programmable digital timer keeps you on track, and the double-glazed door stays cooler to the touch. The main oven is rated A for energy efficiency, with 2 shelves and an interior light, while the top oven offers multifunction cooking with 1 shelf. Both ovens have easy-clean interiors and lighting. The gas grill is FSD compliant, stopping gas flow if the flame goes out, a key safety feature. Convertible to LPG if needed, this cooker measures H90 x W60 x D60cm and weighs 61.4kg. works well after quick fix
They use packaging that causes the control knobs to get pushed too far in resulting in 2 rings top oven and grill not staying lit, a 5 minute engineer visit fixed this, that's why only 4 stars, Once it was fixed it works really well you can open top and bottom oven doors at the same time, I was impressed with speed of doing cheese on toast and the usefulness of the small burner, My shortbread looked a bit pale but was well done and I am getting use to roasters having to turn the oven up a bit, Easier to clean the top and the grill pan due to its detachable handle, all in a great cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this oven, it’s sometimes a struggle when you get a new oven to bake as you get used to it but this has been easy to get used to and managed to bake done delicious treats for my boys. The hob is very easy to clean after each use, no stuck on food here! I really love the glass top lid to go over the burners, it’s a lifesaver to keep things clean and tidy when not in use. The fact there is a double oven makes things even more exciting, as the smaller oven doubles up as a grill it makes the perfect combination. I use the smaller oven for baking sometimes or single meals without having to heat up the whole oven at the bottom. It’s a heavy oven but the doors and glass top lid are sturdy and move smoothly. I am really enjoying using this oven.

Cooker of my dreams!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really want to thank Influenster for sending me the cooker of my dreams! The Hotpoint model HDG6GDCB1 is an amazing freestanding gas cooker. It has four gas hobs and two ovens. The quality is outstanding. If I compare to my previous cooker it is very easy to clean and keep maintained. I love the glass cover, when you are not cooking you can cover the cooker and may be put a vase or decorative piece on. Hotpoint sent a few years guarantee as well. The packaging was great. Cooker came in secured and with care. Can not recommend it enough.

Good build quality overall and great functionality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great design and functionality, the oven heats up very quickly and it cooks the food quite evenly. The gas hob works well too. I removed a star because when it arrived the knob that controls the grill and top oven keeps falling off so I will have to source a replacement part for this. It’s a very strong build and the glass top to protect the hob is good quality. Very easy to fit and light enough to move with only 2 people needed.

Great Cooker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a modern, stylish looking gas cooker that fits in well with my kitchen. It has many great features which help make life easier. Including, the different size hob burners which are suitable for different sized pans. As well as the option of using the grill alongside the main oven. The main oven is large and great for large families but you can also use the grill as a smaller oven for when you're making especially large meals. The cooker has a glass lid which looks great when the cooker isn't in use and also acts as a splashback. The cooker has a clock and timer function which is very useful and great for staying on track while I'm cooking. Overall, this is a stylish and convenient cooker for any family..

Reliable and practical applicance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is an upgrade for me after owning an owning an older hotpoint model for several years, and overall, it’s a reliable and practical appliance with a few noticeable differences compared to the older design. The most obvious change is the oven size and tray depth. The trays on the older Hotpoint model were deeper, which meant you could easily cook something like a 12-inch pizza. With the newer design, the trays are shallower, and the main and second ovens are slightly smaller in height. That said, having two ovens is still a big advantage, especially when cooking a Sunday roast, as it gives you the flexibility to cook different dishes at once. A big plus is the glass lid – when closed, it automatically shuts off the gas to the hob. This is a great safety feature, and it also doubles up as extra worktop space in a smaller kitchen. The main oven has an interior light, which is really handy for checking on food without opening the doo. One small drawback compared to my old Hotpoint is the hob design. The burners on this model are raised higher, which leaves part of the metal hob exposed when the glass lid is closed. On the older cooker, the rings were sunk lower, so when the lid was down it completely covered the hob, making it safer by reducing the chance of little hands accidentally touching hot metal. Overall, this is a solid and user-friendly cooker with useful safety features and a smart design. While the tray depth and hob layout could be improved, the dual ovens, cooling fan, and glass lid safety shut-off make it a very practical choice for everyday cooking.

Perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my new double oven cooker, and already put it to work, i couldn't wait longer, i fell in love, the design is amazing, it comes in a proper and safe package. It has Double Oven Setup: The main oven is roomy enough for a Sunday roast, and the top oven/grill is perfect for quick meals like cheese toasties or grilled veggies. The Gas Hob i was so surprised to see how fast it heats up and gives me precise control. I didn’t think I’d care about the glass lid but it’s surprisingly useful. It keeps the hob clean and gives me extra counter space when closed.

It must be installed by a qualified Gas Safe engineer who is also qualified to handle the electrical hardwiring.
