Great tool for a bouncy blow out style

Very efficient hot brush. Creates great volume and a bouncy blow out effect. Used on dry hair only to create volume and bounce. Good section to grip without danger of burning fingers. Heats up very fast and multiple heat settings.

Works well on certain hair types

This takes some getting used to using but once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s easy. I have to say it didn’t suit my hair type (long, wavy/curly, frizzy) but did work well on others i’ve tried. It gives a bit of volume but it doesn’t quite hold all day. Overall does an ok job and would recommend it, but research to see suitability for your hair type first.

Reduces frizz and adds volume!

It took me a little while to get a hang of the hot brush, but it is pretty easy once you master it. I will say that it does not curl, but does add volume and reduce frizz. As someone with thicker hair, I have found it easier to roughly straighten it before using this brush. There is adjustable temperature, and a long enough cord to comfortably use it. It also comes with a heat mat, which is great for using it whilst travelling.

An excellent buy

This is an excellent hot brush. I am pleased with the features. It is easy to use, has variable temperature settings (4) and can be used both at home and abroad as it automatically adjusts to the country's voltage.

Fairly easy to use and understand

I found this hot brush fairly easy to use for someone who is generally hopeless with styling my own hair. I needed to watch YouTube videos in order to get the right technique, but was then able to use the hot brush without too much difficulty. Having seen family members use one, I was keen to have a go, but skeptical as to how it would work on my longer and thicker hair, however the effect is quite nice, but would probably be better on shorter and thinner hair than mine. The greatest annoyance was how often I accidentally turned the hot brush off whilst using it. Whilst it has a very useful locking mechanism to lock in your settings after turning it on, holding the off button (a pressure sensitive part of the handle) for enough seconds would still turn it off. Fortunately it beeps when this happens, so I was able to immediately turn it back on. With practice, I imagine I’d learn not to hold it in the wrong spot. The instructions were helpful and detailed, and the mat for the hot brush is helpful so I don’t fear for my surfaces when putting it down. All in all, I liked the hot brush and look forward to using it when I want to smarten my appearance instead of chucking my hair in a ponytail as I run out the door.

Not the greatest.

What I like about this is it has different heat settings and is pretty lightweight. It does tame your hair but I would say it is better for those with already straight hair just to give the hair volume because it does not smooth the lengths of my hair being curly/puffy. For me I ended up needing To straighten my hair to then use this which I feel beats the purpose of a hair styling tool. If you have any pattern to your hair other than straight you will not achieve the smooth sleek volumed root look you expect. The wand is also quite thick.

Gave a great bouncy style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is fairly thick but it managed to produce a great bouncy result when I used it. It is easy to use and didn’t feel as though it was burning my head which does happen with some products. The results lasted all day which doesn’t always happen with my hair. I was happy with the overall results. The only annoyance was I kept accidentally turning it off with my hand when it was angled in certain positions,
