This Hotpoint heat pump tumble dryer is designed for drying large loads of laundry efficiently in your home or outbuilding. Its 9kg drum capacity handles cottons, synthetics, delicates and woollens with care, making it ideal for busy households. Heat pump technology uses lower temperatures to protect fabrics while achieving excellent drying results, and the A energy rating means it uses just 128kWh per year. The PetHairCare cycle uses steam to reduce static and lift pet hair from clothes, while the DelicateDry and Woollens cycles ensure gentle treatment of sensitive fabrics.
This corded appliance offers 15 drying programmes including cottons, synthetics, delicates, shirts, sports and a 60-minute timer for quick refreshes. The digital display and dial controls simplify selection, and delayed start lets you set cycles up to 24 hours ahead. The Easy Clean Filter in the door catches fine fluff for consistent performance, with indicator lights for filter or reservoir. Economic, large capacity, efficient Dryer.
This is an excellent dryer, it's very efficient, it's economical, has so many setting it need not be on a long cycle. It large enough it take a single quilt, even a double summer quilt. I bought one for myself and was so pleased with iti bought my Daughter the same one as an early wedding present. Well worth the money , it knocks socks off any other dryer i have ever had. And you would be amazed at the amount of water that comes out in the tray.

Efficient
I bought this to replace a condenser model & because of the Windsor Framework in N.I. , I had to buy a heat pump model. It has surprised me with the drying capacity , quiet operation and the drying time. It takes 1 hour 40 minutes for a mixed load which took over 3 hours in my old machine. I am using the dryer more often because of the electricity saving & so glad not to have laundry strung all around the house.

As a new mum, this dryer has made my life so much easier and more manageable. The capacity is perfect for handling all the extra laundry that comes with having a baby, and everything comes out fresh and dry in no time. It’s very efficient, quiet, and reliable, which means I can run it any time of day without worrying. This appliance has been such a lifesaver, and I don’t know how I managed without it before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE this product! All I have to say about this product is nothing but possible comments. I owned a tumble dryer a few years ago. I liked the idea of having a tumble dryer because I have tonnes of washing to do every single day! Its never ending so having a dryer was very convenient. Although I spent alot of money on it, we did not get along and gor rid of it which then I bought the large Lakeland heated dryer. I was luckily enough to be gifted this and it has completely blown me away. Some of the key points id like to mention are the following. I use this twice a day , sometimes 3 and it hardly costs me anything. I can see the cost on my smart meter so considering how much I use it, it literally costs me penny's. Music to my ears! Speaking of music , its such a quite tumble dryer. Sometimes you dont even know its on. I have 4 kids under 6 and even when my new born is asleep in the little moses basket, the noise doesn't wake him up. Its very quite and efficient for a tumble dryer! My clothes do not come out creased. I've tried all the different settings and unlike my last one whereby my clothes use to come out creases, these are not. When the dryer is finished, its not always possible to take the clothes out straight away so to ensure that the clothes are still airing, keep crease free , the dryer will spin around by itself every so often. This is a fabulous feature ! I really like how well lit the LCD is. The screen is well lit which if you compare it to my washing machine which is touchscreen and lit too, this dryer wins hands down. It is easy to change the dial to what setting you want but overall very easy to read. I use the dryer a handful of times before I need to empty the water holder or clean the little basket full of fibres from the clothes. So easy to empty the water and clean the little basket which sits at the bottom lip of the drum. Overall, i really can't recommend this anymore than I do. I love this particular product and its been a game changer for me in so many ways. I would not hesitate at all to buy this especially when it comes to choice... I must add that I have even put the baby toys in and they came out perfect !! The large drum really makes a difference !

I've been pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is compared to my old one, allowing me to run it in the evenings without any issues. I haven’t had it long enough to assess its energy efficiency, but the cycles are shorter, and being a newer model, I believe it will save me a considerable amount on my energy bills. The standout feature for me is the Pet Hair Care cycle. We have a British Shorthair cat that sheds a lot, and this cycle removes nearly all the hair from my clothes in a quick wash—it's amazing!

Energy Efficient and a great design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really enjoying this tumble dryer so far. It fits well into the space that I have designated for it and it looks really good. It has a nice simple design that works well with the space. Once I read through the instructions fully it was easy to understand and use the tumble dryer. There are a good range of programs and I love how energy efficient this is and that’s a big bonus for me! It dries my clothes, towels and bedding well. You just have to make sure you remember that it can take a little bit longer due to it being a heat pump and to empty the water out, but these are things I’m getting used to and don’t bother me. I also like that there is a good amount of space in the drum so I can dry a number of things at once. I’m really pleased with this tumble dryer and I’m looking forward to the savings on my electricity bill when I’m using it’s a lot more consistently over the winter.

I can advise that this tumble dryer has ColdGuard - so is designed to work efficiently in temperatures as low as 0C. If you're outbuilding gets colder than that, it would not be suitable.

I can advise the following for the Hotpoint CHD93MWWUK 9KG Heat Pump Tumble Dryer - White:
Timed duration is controlled by iron, cupboard, cupboard+ timings. Temperature is controlled by the type of items in the dryer by selecting the most appropriate type of materials. You aren't able to set it at say 60ºc for 1:30.
