Looses power quickly, so have plugged it into a timer, to recharge throughout the day. Have to have your phone logged to it to view app, so can't see if working when out and about, if you have cameras linked to it this would be a problem

I received the 25G sim card but when I activated it I believe I received 75G. I haven't checked because I basically needed 10GB immediately. The confusion is what brings the rating down.

Hi,
The M7010 has power-saving mode enabled by default. If no device is connected and the network is used for a period of time (default is 10 minutes), the Wi-Fi function will automatically turn off. To turn Wi-Fi back on, you need to press the power button.
If you want Wi-Fi to always be on, you can disable power-saving mode:
ā¢ Through the web management interface: Connect your device to your computer or phone, enter 'tplinkmifi.net' or '192.168.1.1' in your browser, log in, and enter Advanced > Power Saving, turn off power-saving mode.
ā¢ Through the tpMiFi App: Download the tpMiFi app and log in, then go to Tools > Battery for setup.

TDD-LTE: B38 / B40 / B41 (2600 / 2300 / 2500 MHz)
3G
HSPA+ / HSPA / UMTS: B1 / B5 / B8 (2100 / 850 / 900 MHz)
If the SIM card and network service support any of the above frequency bands, there should be no compatibility issue with the router. We would also recommend confirming with Three that the SIM card allows use in a 4G/5G router, as some SIM plans may have usage restrictions depending on the provider.

To use the 4G Mobile Wi-Fi device, you typically need to have an active data plan SIM card with your mobile service provider. Simply insert the SIM card into the device to get the internet access.
To select the right SIM card for your router, consider the following:
1) Compatibility: please check with your ISP which network type and bands are supported by your SIM card in your area, and then check the specification of the Mobile Wi-Fi device on TP-Link official website to find the network type and bands supported by the device.
Note: The supported network type and bands are related to the device hardware, thus unable to be changed via firmware update.
2) SIM Card Size: The latest models generally use a Nano SIM slot, while older versions may have a Micro SIM slot. Devices with a Micro SIM or Standard SIM slot usually come with a SIM card adapter and sticker for conversion.
3) SIM card type: A 4G router may work with a 5G SIM card but only operate at 4G speeds and capabilities. It is recommended to choose the appropriate SIM card accordingly.

The TP-Link M7010 uses an external 5V/1A charger for charging. Any standard 5V USB power adapter that provides at least 1A output should work.

Insert the SIM with the gold contacts facing down and push it in until it clicks. If the metal holder wonāt close, please check the SIM is the correct size and inserted the right way round, and donāt force it.
