A Real Game-Changer for Cleaning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have a good impression about the Dyson products but I can say that the Dyson Piston animal is a game-changer. Suction is powerful , the mop function works brilliantly on hard surfaces , and the battery lasts long enough to get everything done in one go.The mop attachments leave the floor spotless , and the filtration is impressive , trapping dust and allergens effectively.

Amazingly better than my Gen5Detect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent the new piston to review and as soon as I opened the boxes I knew this was something special, straight away I noticed the new design on the main body and bin end with the new integrated nozzle! And then with the new pipe design and how the main attachment head just clicks in without having to bend down which works perfectly with the submarine 2.0 when going from hovering to mopping and back again effortlessly nice touch :) The new submarine 2.0 is really good, so sustainable with only a faction of the water required when compared to using a mop and bucket, I used a quarter cap of flash floor cleaner with warm water and it worked perfectly through the house…just under 2 water tanks to clean my entire house (3bed,3bathrooms, kitchen, living room, halls and conservatory) I love the new compactor in the bin and how it displays on the screen when left compressed. The build feels so much more solid than my Gen5 detect which is less than a year old 😩 The sound and feel when switched on is so satisfying because it sounds quiet yet the suction is incredible. The display gives great information and I love the new improve live status colours based on how much it’s hoovering up. The new head is the best to date and goes from hard floor to carpet, most of my house is hard floor with some rugs, it’s works brilliantly going between both surface types albeit the head is slightly bulky. The app is a lot better with the piston in that you can actually make adjustments to the appliance in real time. I struggled to see the usage data though, just wouldn’t pick it up from the appliance. All in all I found the new V16 Piston without a doubt your best handheld hoover to date and I’m really struggling with having to send it back and it’s now made my Gen5Detect old hat and no where as good. My one gripe would be as per usual new design so new attachments design now left with bucket full of previous models attachments:(

All round awesomeness!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my new V16 'Submarine' 2 weeks ago and have quickly come to appreciate the UPGRADE that this machine is. It performed brilliantly on my carpets and hard flooring. The battery is certainly longer lasting (over an hour). The attachments, whilst similar to my previous machine, work exceedingly well which I put down to the extra suction of the V16.The new wet/mop function worked well although found it a little difficult to manoeuvre. One big surprise was how much quieter hoovering has become! Overall I am very pleased with all the aspects of this 'awesome' machine and would highly recommend it.

Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine: Lightweight Joy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, despite the minor drawbacks in suction and battery duration, the Dyson V16 has quickly become a favorite in my cleaning routine. Its lightweight design makes it effortless to maneuver around furniture and stairs, and the versatility in switching between hard floors and carpets feels intuitive. The attachments, from the anti-tangle brush to the crevice tool, are sturdy and purpose-built, which adds to the premium feel. Even the wet and dry function, which I plan to try on my kitchen tiles soon, seems promising based on the easy setup. There's something about the engineering that makes vacuuming less of a chore—almost therapeutic, really. If you're in the market for a high-end cordless vac that prioritizes ease and enjoyment over raw power, this one's a solid pick. I'd recommend it with a 4 out of 5 stars.

Super powerful suction!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The V16 vacuum performed brilliantly on both the textured slate floor and wool rugs. Battery lasted a good hour so no need to recharge part way through cleaning. The wet head struggled with both slate and wood flooring. Leaving too much water on wooden floors and unable to get into crevices in slate. I love the powerful vacuum but wet clean best with a mop!

Super Exceeded Expectations!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine has far exceeded my expectations! From the moment I opened the box, I was living the dream! Assembly was quick and simple — I was up and running in under five minutes. The machine itself looks sleek and high-end. Before testing it, I vacuumed my whole house with my existing hoover. My home has wooden flooring downstairs with rugs, carpets upstairs, and tiled bathrooms and kitchen. The Dyson still managed to find dust everywhere, made visible by the dust illumination green light. The suction power is incredible across ECO, Auto, and Boost modes. My deep-pile rug has always been a nightmare to clean, but the roller’s floor switch made it effortless. The built-in crevice tool is a brilliant touch, and the accessories made light work of the stairs, soft furniture and the car. It’s also quieter than I expected. The dust bin is a generous size and empties cleanly with no dust cloud. Battery lasted through a full clean, and charging is quick. Maintenance and cleaning are simple. The mop function works well, though it is heavier than a regular mop so my arms felt it after a while. My only real gripe is — I’d prefer a floor stand rather than the wall mount which I feel should be included at this price point. Overall, it’s a fantastic machine that delivers excellent results on every surface. Highly recommended

The Ferrari of vacuums
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the pleasure of using this for the last few days and it's frankly an unbelievable appliance! Hoovering is one of my least favourite tasks (like most people) but this cut the time and effort so much I actually didn't mind doing it. Having owned a couple of cordless hoovers before I had gone back to corded because the batteries never lasted long enough. There's no such trouble with this hoover! Our house isn't small yet i could do every room and still have loads left. The illuminating green light helped me spot so many things I couldnt usually see and the way it speeds up on its own when detecting extra debris/dust was beyond anything I had seen before. This was also shown in real time on the LCD display. It's amazing how much it picks up even when you think the floor is pretty clean already and the great range of attachments make getting in all the gaps and smaller spaces a breeze. Great for getting rid of all that hidden pet hair buried deep in the carpet. The way it transitions by itself from Carpets to hard floor is extremely helpful and the Bluetooth app is a perfect feature to check on battery level, to change settings easily or to know when updates are available. The "Submarine" for clearing spillages was amazing and meant I didn't have to keep getting the (smelly) mop and bucket out. I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who wants a top quality machine.

Dyson V16 Submarine: Almost the Ultimate Clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine for a little while now, and overall, it’s an impressive wet and dry vacuum that lives up to the Dyson name – but it's not without its quirks. Pros: - It has incredible suction power. This hoover picks up an amazing amount of dust and debris, even from areas I thought were already clean. The difference is noticeable, even if it makes you wonder was the house really that dirty! -The filter is easy to access, remove, and clean, which makes regular maintenance not a chore. -The battery charges faster than I expected, which is great for daily use or those quick unexpected jobs. - The smart features such as the app and the built-in screen on the hoover are surprisingly useful. You can track cleaning performance and maintenance alerts so you can keep the hoover in the best condition for performance. -The attachments are easy to click on and off, making changing between cleaning tasks take seconds. - The dust is compacted within one quick push of a button inside the bin, allowing for longer cleaning sessions without needing to empty frequently. - When it’s time to empty the bin, the process is quick and hygienic and mess free. - The auto mode is my favourite as it automatically adjusts suction depending on the floor type and how dirty the area is, which saves battery and effort. Cons: - While the attachments are easy to change, the main wand can be a bit hard to detach. It takes a bit more force than expected to get it in the right position. -It’s definitely on the heavier side, especially during longer sessions or when lifting it for higher spots. -The wet cleaning head (Submarine tool) works well on open areas but doesn’t quite reach into corners and edges, meaning you may need to follow up with another cleaning tool. Overall compared to my older model hover this is a fantastic upgrade. The option to have wet and dry cleaning suits most homes as they have a mixture of floor types. The pros defiantly outweigh the cons. This hoover will make you feel your house is clean knowing how much dust and hair it has sucked up.

Great green light , ultimate v16 piston Animal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent pick up performance, and the green light shows fine dust and dog hairs so you can see how much it’s sucking up. The down side of the main attachment would be it doesn’t reach corners or sides you have to change to the nozzle fitting over. Battery life was great . And the easy emptying technique is good it makes it so much better than older models . It’s heavier than some models but worth it for its performance.
