About this product
The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine is a proper all-rounder that vacuums, washes and converts into a handheld for furniture and tight spots. It's powered by a 900w digital motor that delivers up to 315AirWatts of suction, and the battery lasts up to 70 minutes on a single charge, which is plenty for a whole-home clean. It's manageable enough to carry between rooms, and the dustbin means you're not emptying it constantly.
The dual conical cleaner head adapts to all floors and spirals hair into the bin without tangling, even long strands. The Submarine wet roller head tackles spills and stains on hard floors with a max mode for tougher marks. The CleanCompaktor bin compresses dust and debris to hold up to a month's worth and wipes itself clean when emptied. It has a HEPA filter for trapping small particles and pet dander, plus a power boost for extra suction. Includes mattress, crevice, upholstery nozzles, dusting brush, combination floor nozzle, and pet tool. Works on carpets, hard floors, upholstery and stairs.

Powerful vacuum with some great features
The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine is a powerful and versatile cordless vacuum cleaner. It has a modern design, is easy to manoeuvre around the house, and is particularly useful for picking up pet hair and everyday dirt. The cordless design makes cleaning more convenient, and the Submarine wet cleaning feature is a useful addition for hard floors. Overall, it feels like a premium product with plenty of useful features. It is quite an investment, but it’s a great choice for anyone looking for an all-in-one cleaning solution for their home.

Should come with a fluffy head
I purchased this Dyson about a month ago.I find the new head very heavy why they did away with the fluffy head I do not know.So much so have purchased one.Suction is good and with the fluffy head it works well.I have disabled the auto brush feature on the app as I found it a bit hit and miss with the Dyson seemingly thinking I was doing carpet when in fact I was on hard floors.it is heavier than my previous Dyson. So far have used the wet head only once and found it made a reasonable job but ‘this really only uses the Dyson power and not the vacuum part. All in All I think I prefer my older model.

Excellent vacuum
I am enjoying the freedom of not having a wire trailing behind me. The stick with the double detangling head is heavy because I am not used to carrying the Motor! However, I enjoyed the brilliant suction from using the vacuum and the colour code to know when the carpet is perfectly clean. The countdown of runtime is very useful.

Frustrating
Device regularly stops working and flags, "airway blocked", when it isn't. Very frustrating.

Solidly made and good quality
One off the most improved Dyson animal vacuum to date we are satisfied with the quality and performance. Not tried the wet clean will send in a review in due cause. Good filteation & manoeuvrability & suction The runtime is good but charging takes long. Moisture is good.

Simply the best
What do I love? It cleans, really well. It’s quieter than previous models. It cleans the whole house on one charge. It shows you exactly where the grime is & when it’s gone. What do I miss from the V15?, the total particle counter & the battle to tug out tangles of long hair from the rollers

Best dyson yet!
Bought just over a week ago. The V16's new tools really work. No hair on the brush it goes in the bin, easy to wash the tools, whereas you couldn't really clean them before. The new wet cleaner is great for floors and again you can clean everything. I've used dyson for 20 years and this is the best one ever. It adjusts more easily between different floor types, and there is a switch on the head to adjust airflow for deeper piles. The bin is now contactable so more about fit in the bin.

A solid vacuum
Having just bought my own place I was looking for a vacuum that could vacuum and mop all in one. This is perfect. The runtime is more than plenty for a 2 bedroom house. That’s a mixture of hard floor and carpet. It does the job effortlessly but super powerful. It’s generally quite quiet for a vacuum too. Easy to move around as well and feels light in the hand.

Genuinly Tangle Free
I have three dogs with double coats and have tryed every type of vacuum even the ones advertised anti hair wrap and tangle free. All of them block instantly. When I read about the Dyson V16 having conical brush roller, I had to try it but was doubtfull kt would work. But guess what, it works perfectly. No tangles, no blockage, what a game canger in vacuum technology.
Paul.
Hello Kaz,
Yes, with one of the other attachments it will bend almost flat to be able to reach underneath furniture.
Thanks for using Q&A.
