The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine is a proper all-rounder that vacuums, washes and converts into a handheld for furniture and tight spots. It's powered by a 900w digital motor that delivers up to 315AirWatts of suction, and the battery lasts up to 70 minutes on a single charge, which is plenty for a whole-home clean. It's manageable enough to carry between rooms, and the dustbin means you're not emptying it constantly.
The dual conical cleaner head adapts to all floors and spirals hair into the bin without tangling, even long strands. The Submarine wet roller head tackles spills and stains on hard floors with a max mode for tougher marks. The CleanCompaktor bin compresses dust and debris to hold up to a month's worth and wipes itself clean when emptied. It has a HEPA filter for trapping small particles and pet dander, plus a power boost for extra suction. Simply the best
What do I love? It cleans, really well. It’s quieter than previous models. It cleans the whole house on one charge. It shows you exactly where the grime is & when it’s gone. What do I miss from the V15?, the total particle counter & the battle to tug out tangles of long hair from the rollers

Best dyson yet!
Bought just over a week ago. The V16's new tools really work. No hair on the brush it goes in the bin, easy to wash the tools, whereas you couldn't really clean them before. The new wet cleaner is great for floors and again you can clean everything. I've used dyson for 20 years and this is the best one ever. It adjusts more easily between different floor types, and there is a switch on the head to adjust airflow for deeper piles. The bin is now contactable so more about fit in the bin.

A solid vacuum
Having just bought my own place I was looking for a vacuum that could vacuum and mop all in one. This is perfect. The runtime is more than plenty for a 2 bedroom house. That’s a mixture of hard floor and carpet. It does the job effortlessly but super powerful. It’s generally quite quiet for a vacuum too. Easy to move around as well and feels light in the hand.

Genuinly Tangle Free
I have three dogs with double coats and have tryed every type of vacuum even the ones advertised anti hair wrap and tangle free. All of them block instantly. When I read about the Dyson V16 having conical brush roller, I had to try it but was doubtfull kt would work. But guess what, it works perfectly. No tangles, no blockage, what a game canger in vacuum technology.

Too complicated
I bought it a couple of weeks ago but I just find it too complicated. I am not very technically minded and didnt realise I needed to use apps and computer updates. I am more used to a printed instruction manual. I think I should have looked into it more thoroughly, instead of asking Chat GPT which was the best. I have always had Dyson before but they were so much less complicated.

Great Vacuum - just two small issues
Great vacuum and we are very pleased with it. However there are two ‘issues’ for us that should be considered. 1. It is very heavy - significantly heavier than other models. 2. The wall mounting dock is just not fit for purpose. (It was likely designed for earlier, lighter, models.). We have had to enhance the mounting holding to ensure it works for the heavy v16 model.

Pathetic vacuum
After two weeks of vacuuming my one bed apartment this thing keeps loosing suction - like so many others say. I have cleaned and emptied everything, the dust is inside the pistons that you’d have to open up and clean or have it serviced. I’m on day 16 and the thing won’t even turn on other than to tell me that there’s loss of suction - it pulsates 3x and turns off. On another note, the dust compartment? Useless - you can compress it all you want but once you turn the machine on the compressed dust becomes uncompressed. Totally useless. Main attachments - the soft brush with the laser - great, it works, like it should as this is a vacuum. Carpet conical attachment - it is about 20 - 30% less powerful on carpets than the v15. I tried both. The reviews that are positive are likely from people who had it for a short period of time, a search on Reddit will show you how many people experience the suction loss issue so buyer beware - if you buy this, make sure you keep the box so you can return it. I just sent mine back for a refund.

Happy v16 Animal
Very happy with my Dyson v16 Animal Submarine. The new head seems much better at cleaning than my old Dyson and there's a lot more suction, so cleaning only takes one pass and is much quicker, plus the battery and runtimes are longer now too.

Yes, with one of the other attachments it will bend almost flat to be able to reach underneath furniture.
