Stain removal cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this product a week ago and it has been a blessing. After following the easy step by step guide to assemble, it just needed a quick charge up then was good to go. I have tried it on an old stain on my stair carpet and it completely removed it apart from a tiny bit, but barely noticeable. My daughter knocked over some vimto and that stain was easily cleaned up in minutes! I would definitely recommend this product. Its easy to assemble, simple to use, and actually does the job thoroughly! Very efficient piece of kit!

Great results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product a few weeks ago as a promotion and tested it out on 2 old stubborn stains that I had not been able to remove previously. I found the method needed to complete the cleaning process was easy and I was very surprised at the results. One stain has gone completely and the other one is only very slightly visible - but you wouldn’t see it if you weren’t looking for it. Overall I was very impressed with the outcome. Two slight negatives. Firstly I found the brush got a bit clogged up with fibres from the carpet, but easily removed, and secondly to do a full clean was a bit fiddly taking everything apart and remembering how to put it all back together (thank goodness for your online videos) but as it’s not necessary every time it’s a small price to pay.

This is the first time I have tried a shark cleaning product and trust me when I say the results were amazing. Simple and easy to use and the way it cleans your carpet or anything you have spilt . It looks even cleaner then before you would not know that you have spilled anything or there was a mark. I would recommend to have in the house at all times as you never know when you need it it’s so useful especially when you have young kids. Marks every where from dirty hands to paint. It’s something I don’t live with out

A useful and easy to use cordless cleaner!

For example it has effectively removed stains from the arms of upholstered sofas with ease, cleaned marks from a light coloured stair carpet and been used to clean stains from upholstered dining chairs. It has also removed coffee stains from a light coloured rug. I’m delighted with its efficiency and versatility! It was easy to assemble and charge and has a very useful caddy in which all the items can be stored. It doesn’t take up too much space and is housed in the hall cupboard for easy access. Charging is easy

Awful product
Without doubt the worst product I have ever bought. Unfortunately because I used it I couldn’t return it as it wasn’t faulty and Shark weren’t interested as I bought it from Argos. Left the stain in a bigger mess than before because of the solution it gives you but the unit doesn’t have a strong enough suction to actually dry/suck up the stain so it just leaves you with a big wet patch, worst than it was before. Also extremely loud. Definitely avoid!

This device is designed for taking care of stains caused by pet waste. However, we recommend picking up any large chunks before attempting to use the appliance on the stains to avoid overloading the device.

Itll take about 500 refills and leave your sofa wet. Its only for tiny spills.

The Shark StainForce is not specifically designed for mould removal as its formula targets stains and odours, not fungal growth. But we advise to use first to pre-treat the carpet with mould-killing solution, and after, use the Shark StainForce to extract moisture and clean the stain.
Yes it can be used on mattresses, but please note that mattresses are thick and absorbent, so use minimal cleaning solution to prevent deep soaking. We also advise to test a small area first by checking for colorfastness and fabric reaction before cleaning a large section.
It can take up to 4 hours for the spot cleaner to charge completely.
The overall runtime of this spot cleaner is up to 15 minutes.
The StainForce is designed for use on carpet and upholstery. This means it can be used anywhere around the home, or even in your car.
We don't recommend using it on leather, wool, silk or delicate materials, and we always recommend a patch test on a hidden area of the fabric before using it in visible areas.
