The storage opens at the end with gas lifts that raise the base smoothly, no heavy lifting on your part. The frame sits on a sprung wooden slat base that supports your mattress and lets air circulate properly. Plastic feet keep it stable and lift the frame slightly, so you can sweep or hoover underneath without awkward manoeuvring. It works with most bedroom styles and wipes clean when you need it to.
