Bosch MUM5XW49GB 8-in-1 Stand Mixer Scale & Coffee Grinder

A great value machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine offers a lot for the price point. It may not be as sturdy as some of the high-end mixers but to be honest, I wouldn’t expect it to. It is made of plastic but coupled with its compact size, this means it is lightweight and easy to get in and out of cupboards. If you wanted to leave it out on the side, it’s a handsome looking machine with a clean modern aesthetic. I appreciate it’s 3.9 L stainless steel bowl which is sturdy and great quality. With a wide range of attachments from slicers, graters and a coffee bean grinder - to a full set of mixer attachments, it is a very versatile machine. The blending jug does feel rather cheap and plastic, although does the job and offers an alternative to purchasing a stand alone machine. I love the integrated scales and timer which are a brilliant addition and work really well. The splashguard fits really well on the bowl, however could do with a cover for the very wide liquid hole, which whilst makes it really easy to add liquid, does mean the ingredients can escape out (especially icing sugar!!) I’m really impressed with the 3-D planetary mixing which brings all the ingredients together and creates the perfect mix with nothing left behind.

Multiple uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to use a lot of the functions of this set before I reviewed it. This is no ordinary mixer, this is a multi function machine! The mixer as you’d expect from Bosch is great, it looks sleek, this white and champagne colour is neutral and it could work in with any kitchen design. The splash protecting lid also allows you to add liquids etc without removing the whole lid and the lead automatically goes back in the machine which is excellent for storage. You get a blender, which is great for smoothies. A to go bottle is also included. The continuous shredder comes with 4 different discs (which all go in a cute accessory bag, so they are safe and in one place) which are for chopping and dicing, I love doing home made crisps with a variety of root vegetables. Finally there’s the chopper blade and storage jar, coffee beans are no problem for this. It’s easy to change the accessories to whatever one you need at the time. Overall this is a great multipurpose set and is well worth buying.

Fantastic machine! Absolutely loving it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say I am really pleasantly surprised by this machine, it’s super versatile, with a ton of functions and helpful accessories - the grater, dough hook and juicer are my personal favourites. It’s great quality, stable and feels really considered - It’s compact, so doesn’t take up a huge amount of space and comes with storage for accessories and also a retractable plug which i again really appreciate.

Amazing, power ful and time saving

This 8 in 1 kitchen product has been a game changer and time saving kitchen product for me. It kneads, whisks, grinds, mixes, slices and blends all the edible stuff with ease and comfort. It also has a 7 speed settings and very powerful therefore I highly recommend it especially currently the product is at half price Easter sale.

Fantastic for home baking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impressions of this are very good. It looks modern and not too bulky, it’s light weight and compact. The integrated scale is definitely a standout feature as it speeds up preparation and cuts down washing up. The 1000W motor is more than enough for most home baking tasks. The planetary mixing action does a good job for reaching the edges of the bowl. I have found the more mix you put in it the louder it can be but for me that’s not an issue. The smart features are what makes this very good. Weigh directly into the bowl or into attachments, definitely saves time and reduces mess, what precision matters in a recipe this is especially useful. I’m loving all the attachments and the seven speed settings. It’s definitely more than just a mixer it’s more like a mini food processor system. So for me the pros of this definitely outweigh the cons. I would highly recommend this to any home cook/baker. A solid 4 out of 5.

A must have kitchen gadget

Since I started using the food processor my kitchen tasks had been such a breeze . It is really easy to setup , sturdy design makes the use even more efficient , the machine fixed to table top so doesn’t move around and make the use easier , the attachments are very easy to clean and inter change . If your a fan of baking or simple day to day cooking such as making cakes , chapatis , this can work wonders by reducing the time strain , I will highly recommend it

A must have if you prep and cook a lot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is hard to capture just how good this machine is. It is amazing. If you love to cook or cook a lot then this is what you need. I used it nearly everyday. The veggie chopper gets through veg in no time. The mixer is fantastic for bread and Yorkshire puds. It has a weighting scale so no extra things need to be out in the kitchen. It has a blender for the kids smoothies and baby food. It is perfect for us as a family. The bowl size copes with the extra family members we have at the weekend. I honestly don’t know how I lived without it. It sits nicely on the kitchen side and looks good too. Each feature is easy to use on the machine but also easy to clean. The little bag is brilliant for the sharp blades to store them safely. I cook nearly everyday and this is like a little helper saving me tons of time. I absolutely love it.

Powerful motor - handles even heavier doughs really well. 3d planetary mixing - everything is evenly combined with no unmixed spots. Large bowl - perfect for bigger batches. Built in scale - extremely sensitive, reacts even to the slightest touch, which make it very precise but you need to be careful when adding ingredients. Easy to use - intuitive controls and smooth operation. Very stable - stays in place while working. Elegant champagne finish - looks beautiful on the countertop.

This mixer is fantastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a great 8 in 1 stand mixer. This weighs ingredients directly in the bowl. Very powerful, large capacity. Has speed control which has 7 speed settings. Pretty easy to use. You can mix dough effortlessly, slice, grate, blend, there is an attachment to grind coffee, and a lot more. Easy to clean. Noise level was pretty quite depending what your using it for. There's also an accessory Bag to store the small disks and patisserie tools neatly which is great for storage.
