Strong Performance on Carpets and Hard Floors
I’m really pleased with this vacuum cleaner and my overall shopping experience. The hoover is very lightweight and nimble, which makes it easy to move around furniture and carry up and down stairs. It was quick and straightforward to assemble and feels easy to use straight away. The suction is strong and works well on both hard floors and carpets, picking up dirt effectively, including in corners and along edges. I also really like how easy it is to empty the dust container, and the handheld hose is a good length, making it useful for stairs, upholstery, and awkward areas. While the power cord could be a bit longer and it would be nice if it came with a few more accessories, these are only small negatives compared to the overall performance. It’s a reliable, practical vacuum cleaner that does the job well, and I would happily recommend it to others.

Doesn’t come with tool for cleaning the stairs
This vac doesn’t come with a tool for cleaning wider areas like the stairs. It only comes with a crevice tool. Which is totally inadequate!

Great hoover
Love my new hoover easy to use compact and doesn’t fight with me like the Henry. Suction as good as the Henry but more manageable to use.

Shark Vacuum *brilliant •
Purchased in December as a Christmas present to myself . Honestly it’s the best vacuum . Picks up everything even the black fluff from my kids sock which my old one never seemed to do . With a hard floor and carpet and adjustable suction manages all floor types with ease and speed. Easy to use, Simple empty chamber , lightweight and long cable and great suction power . Very pleased and would recommend a shark to anyone.

Good value for money
Bought this after my 10 year old Dyson broke on me , very good value for money, gets the job done , easy to manoeuvre, compact enough for storage. Had it set up in under 5 minutes from unboxing. Perfect for a budget friendly hoover

The Shark NV180UK is a corded upright vacuum designed with adjustable suction and a brush roll that works well on both carpets and hard floors. However, if you’ve experienced difficulty pushing a corded model on rugs or deep pile carpets, it’s often due to the strong suction creating resistance. For easier maneuverability, we recommend using the suction control slider or carpet setting to reduce suction slightly when vacuuming high-pile rugs. This helps prevent the vacuum from sticking and makes it easier to push.
No, the brush roll doesn`t have blades.
This is a corded vacuum equipped with a standard plug. It does not feature a battery.
