The M2 monitor does have a mains input connection.
I use mine without batteries. Omron sell an optional extra mains plug for it. You can also purchase one from BHF for half the price of the one from Omron.
If Argos tell you its batteries only then they are wrong.

This is the AC adapter jack (for optional AC adapter).
The monitor doesn't come with the power cable; it's just an optional addition if you prefer to use main powered opposed to batteries.

I can confirm that this does come with a Omron M2 Essential Blood Pressure Monitor 22-32cm cuff. It is also compatible with the OMRON Easy-Cuff (22-42cm) which is sold separately.

No, it comes with a 22-32cm cuff in the box, however if you require a bigger cuff, Argos also sells an OMRON 22-42cm cuff, catalogue number 311 2751
