Well designed and efficient
I was nervous getting a heat pump dryer instead of a traditional condenser. I thought it would take forever to dry anything. I am SO pleased I got it. It is very efficient. Okay, I have not loaded it up with 9 kilos yet, just average mixes of clothes or bed linen. It takes out such a lot of water compared to any dryers I had in the past. It is very easy to use. The controls are simple and ( okay, not important) the sounds that notify you of, for example the end of a programme are sweet and charming instead of jarring. There is a programme for woollens which I appreciate. The water container is at the top - so no bending to remove it. The fluff filters are well designed. Easy to remove and the fluff just peels off like on a non-stick surface. The machine is pretty quiet but some programmes rumble a bit. It may just be the kind of floor in my flat. Maybe there is a sound absorbing mat I could get. Probably the only slight minus point. But my washing machine is louder than this when it spins so.......! Overall I am very happy with this dryer and glad I went for it. It is really well thought out and efficient. I have not had it long enough to know how much money it saves but if the suggested calculations are true then it is win win. I bought it for a very good price. Pretty much the same as a condenser. Can't say much about wrinkles in items dried. It is better than my old machine but I forget to press the button to keep the drum moving if I don't remove things straight away. Everything comes out really soft though.
