Hard to complain at this price.
Finally had to give up and buy a mobile as I can't even do something as basic as log in to my broadband account without one nowadays. Obviously this is very limited compared to a smartphone especially with Asda's talk and text deal but at £8 and £4 a month it won't break even my bank. If you're used to a smartphone I'd imagine you'd hate this, but it seems to do the basics well enough and will hopefully get easier as I get used to it - some actions are far from intuitive to me. The camera is so bad as to be useless but I didn't expect anything else.

Flimsy & Poor Battery Life
Purchased as a backup phone. However sim insertion is fiddly at best and requires a locking metal clip to be slid down and moved outwards. Unfortunately both clips broke after 1st attempt and bent. Was able to continue with a small piece of cardboard to hold the sim in place

If a new SIM card is supplied, I would expect this to be a blank SIM with a new number allocated to it; however, there should be no requirement for you to use that specific SIM card with the device.
I would expect the ‘Handset must be purchased with £10 airtime’ note on the website to mean that the £10 airtime will be provided as a top-up voucher. If so, this should be able to be applied to any other active Vodafone PAYG mobile number.
