A good little dashcam, only the app needs a bit mo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what I need to feel secure in London traffic. We live in an area where crash for cash scams are extremely common so I was over the moon to have one to try. It's a compact and sturdy gadget and it was very easy to set up, only needed to plug in and press a few buttons. However the app is a bit of fuss, I had some connection issues but the hardware came with an SD card anyways and I'm fine with that. For me the most important is that I have the evidence somewhere when I need it and I hate sharing personal information (eg location) with phone apps anyways.

Very easy to set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kenwood dashcam includes the full kit for a safe smooth drive. The camera quality is fantastic as the video recordings are nice and clear, clear footage for days and night. This dashcam is perfect as you can access it via your smartphone after downloading the app. Small and compact so hardly noticeable behind the rear view mirror. The setup is pretty simple and the installation setup guide is all via online which I scanned through the qr code. So far so good, everything seems pretty straightforward, hopefully will be long lasting and connectivity stays strong and clear.

Nice and compact
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to set up and get started, easily to install into my car, compact design, doesn’t weigh much and comes with everything needed including memory card.

Ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kenwood DRV-A510W is a reliable mid-range dash cam with clear 2K video, built-in GPS, and Wi-Fi for easy phone access. It’s well made and simple to use. Video quality is good but not the best in its class, and parking mode needs extra accessories. Overall it is a solid, trustworthy dash cam that does the basics well without being top-tier.

Not as good as my old DRVA501W and not compatible
It’s ok, not as good as my old Kenwood in terms of picture quality as no polarising filter. I am also disappointed Kenwood have completely left existing customers high and dry moving to usb c and having no compatibility with existing cabling so I now have to rip out perfectly good cables and a working rear camera for no reason. I get the industry is being forced this way, but why not allow adaptors to allow my existing rear camera to integrate?

Great Dash cam
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kenwood dash cameras are excellent in terms of performance, and the brand has a strong reputation for reliability. The kit includes everything you need right out of the box, including an SD card and all the required cables. Setting it up is very easy—attaching it to the windscreen takes only a moment, and the leaflet provides clear, step-by-step guidance. Once it’s installed, simply download the app from the App Store to manage and access the dash cam straight from your phone. The video quality is outstanding, and the advanced features work seamlessly. Overall, it’s a well-designed product that offers great value and feels very well made.

Great size and camera quality, shame about the app
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size of the camera is excellent. Tucks snuggly behind my rear view mirror and is barely visible. The cable is extra long which is great for keeping it out of the way. The adhesive on the cable holders is poor so I have had to use an alternative sticky pad. The footage quality is excellent. The only thing that really let's it down is the app. I am tech savvy and have tried several times to get this to work. I've downloaded an update but it just will not upload to the camera no matter where I am and what my signal strength. I will therefore be using it like with my old dashcam and if needed removing the memory card and using a card reader. Not a deal breaker by any means but is a shame when this seemed like a useful feature.

Great Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely brilliant piece or kit. The Kenwood dash cam is full of features and captures fantastic wife angle videos and pictures. It's full HD and has built in GPS which helps track your location and provides crucial data for the journey you're on. It has a crystal clean display that makes it easy to navigate through the menus and select your settings. You can connect via Bluetooth smartphone via WIFI. The dash cam is small and weighs hardly anything and when attached to your windscreen it is hardly noticeable at all.
