Great little toy - the birthday winner!
Lovely toy bought for my 4 year old grandson who is obsessed with birds. The mummy duck has a magnetic tile under her tail for the ducklings to hang onto. The duck house is part of the packaging too which holds the nest The only thing I would say stops me giving it 5 stars is that you don’t always get 4 ducklings or even 3 in the eggs which can be a mega disappointment. Particularly with children with additional needs who could have difficulty accepting that some ducklings are missing. They also do not sell spare ducks which I feel is a big miss for them Otherwise really has been the star of the birthday show.

Yes, it works absolutely fine on carpet

The supplier has advised the following for the Pets Alive Mama Duck Surprise:
“ We do not recommend consumers to choose the carpet surface to play, and as far as possible in the flat smooth wood floor or tile floor to play. Once the toy comes in content with uneven surface the waddling will become unstable. ”
