Small but mighty, the Road Angel Halo Ignite 2 is your round-the-clock guardian on the road, capturing every journey in crisp 1080p HD through its rotatable 120-degree lens. This compact dash cam tucks away discreetly behind your mirror and starts recording automatically the moment you turn the key, whilst the clever parking mode keeps watch even when you're not there, using time-lapse or real-time recording to catch any unwanted attention your vehicle gets. The quick-release mount makes removing it a doddle, and Winter Mode tackles those frosty mornings by keeping your lens clear of ice and fog.
Connect it to your phone via Wi-Fi to view footage and tweak settings wherever you are, and let night vision handle the darker hours whilst loop recording ensures you never run out of space. The G-force sensor automatically stores important moments, and photo mode lets you snap stills when needed. Compatible with all cars and HGVs, it weighs just 68g and measures H10, W13, D8.5cm. It does its job
I bought this dash cam (my first ever) because it was inexpensive, so I kept my expectations fairly low. Overall, it does the job and records reliably, although it saves footage in 3-minute video clips rather than as one continuous recording. That isn’t a deal-breaker, but it’s something to be aware of. The setup and installation were a bit confusing, especially when trying to get everything connected and configured for the first time. The instructions could definitely be clearer. I managed with ChatGPT 😃 That said, once it’s installed and working, it performs well enough for the price. If you’re looking for a budget dash cam and don’t mind spending a little extra time setting it up, it’s decent value for money. A memory card wasn’t included and needed to be purchased separately.

Bought this as it was a brand I knew but returned it after 2 days as even using the road angel hard wire kit in the obd2 port I got the message use correct hardwire kit?? Surely their own brand kit with their own camera should be a perfect match but obviously not

Easy to install and set up. App also easy to install. App could be a lot better, hence 4 rather than 5 stars (4.5 would be fairer). The picture through the app is very clear. Lacks features but that's good as far as I'm concerned - ie simple and does the job. Only installed recently. So far it seems to be pretty good. Also good value.
