Great Dash Cam
I wanted a dash cam that was very discreet & didn't obscure forward visability. This camera is extremely compact & is barely noticeable when fitted jus below the rear view mirror. It operates automatically when the car is switched on & you can download content to your smartphone, even has an emergency recording mode which activates if it senses a collision, although you may want to adjust the sensitivity level for this in the app as mine was being triggered by every pothole. Overall a great little camera giving you that extra bit of security.

Not as described on the app
This is not a USB connection dash cam. It requires a cigarette lighter to activate. It also requires a microsd card and it only accepts class 10 a2 128gb cards which add around £25 onto the processor of the dash cam. My item did not work and was missing the USB that was stated in the description so I had to return for a refund.

Okay, could be better for the price.
They are decent enough. I bought two and the WiFi name is exactly the same so setting them up in the same vehicle sucks and you cannot change the WiFi name of the camera in the app. Road Angle used to have the model and a random code as the WiFi name on previous models so no idea why they've moved away from that. I bought two so I could have dedicated cameras on the front and rear, might sound mad but I prefer separate cameras as opposed to a single unit that you channel the rear all the way through the car.

Even if the car is parked for months it will not drain the battery.''

I can advise that the Road Angel 2025 Halo Ignite 2 1080p Full HD Compact Dash Cam does not have a battery. It works from the cigarette lighter port, or The A USB power source
It also connects to your smartphone via WiFi. so you can view and download footage directly from the app.

Having just purchased this i can assure you it DOES NOT charge off a USB port. I bought this product after I read it can be used with USB plus it says it will record when not in the vehicle, only if you hard wire it and by the kit separately. Not as simple as it sounds.
