Works well
Seems to be very responsive updating rapidly to changes in speed limits. It is database driven with no detection capability for mobile cameras.

out of date snooper
having purchased the snooper when i tried to update it there was a problem with snooper data base so could not update it so it gave the wrong speed limit on some speed cameras which gave a false sense of secutiy so for that reason i returned it peter

Snooper
The snooper is better than nothing, however it does not pick up 20 mph limits in small estates and also is not accurate on some other speed limits, not picking up changes from 30mph to 40 mph in a town limit zone. As I said, it is better than having nothing at all but you obviously cannot rely on it totally, especially if you have 9 points on your licence. The speed limit warning works well, but usually sounds about 5 seconds after you have gone past the speed limit and not immediately However I am pleased that I bought it and hope that it prevents me from receiving any more penalty points .

Not fir for purpose
I bought this online at argos, tried it out near to me. It let my go at 60mph into a 40mph and never made a sound further on into 30mph and just said high risk area??? Not the limit or speed, then into a 60mph average speed and went mad as I drove at 45mph bleeping like a giga counter on speed ! So I returned it.
