About this product
If you are out and about regularly and need something that will not weigh you down or take up half your car boot, this powerchair is designed for convenience. Built from carbon fibre, it is super lightweight and folds down compact, with an integral grab handle to help you carry it and a protective 2-handled storage bag to keep it safe from scuffs during transport.
The carbon fibre construction keeps the weight right down for easier lifting and handling. It folds compactly for car boot storage or tucking away at home. Puncture-proof tyres mean no flats or roadside repairs. The padded seat and backrest give you comfort for longer journeys. The removable leg rest adapts to your needs. Anti-tip wheels add stability and safety. This powerchair supports a substantial user weight and comes with a 1-year guarantee.

Hello Jess,
Drive Devilbiss AirFold Carbon Powerchair - Black
The AirFold Powerchair's batteries should be fully charged (approximately 5-8 hours) before its initial use.
This initial charge will allow the battery
to perform at about 90% of its optimal
performance.
Following the initial use, it is recommended to perform another
5–8-hour charge to improve the battery's performance.
If you use your powerchair on a daily basis, charge the batteries as soon as you are finished with the day’s activities, and leave it on the charge until you are ready to use the following day.
After charging, unplug and remove the charger from the mains socket and battery pack or powerchair.
The weight of the battery: 1.7kg (3.12lb)
The weight of the chair: 15.85kg (34.94lb) excluding battery.
I hope this information helps answer your questions.
Thank you for using Q&A.

Hello Dawn,
Drive Devilbiss AirFold Carbon Powerchair - Black
Yes, you can switch the joystick to the other armrest on this powerchair, but this is not a user-serviceable modification and requires professional servicing to correctly relocate the controller to the left side. The joystick is an integrated component of the powerchair's electrical system, and attempting to move it yourself could damage the wheelchair or its warranty.
Thanks for using Q&A
