The Doro Leva E10 is for anyone who wants basic functionality combined with great sound and ease of use from their mobile phone.
Comes with well-spaced and high contrast keys, a 2.4-inch landscape display and extra loud and clear sound (HAC) for calls you can hear wherever you are. These features all help to make everyday calling and texting easier for users.
There is also a camera with flash for taking and sharing quick photos, a built-in torch, and the Doro Secure Button for alerting trusted contacts if help is needed at the touch of a button.
The Doro Leva E10 comes with 128MB of internal storage and 64MB of RAM.

BIT OF A RINGTONE SONG-AND-DANCE + GUIDE ISSUE
I had a few problems with setting the ringtone on this DORO Leva E10, but that may have been due to my relative lack of knowledge/experience with the technical side of mobile phones in general. After several long calls to DORO (who were helpful and friendly, but puzzled with the problem I was reporting) and seriously considering returning the DORO as being faulty, I realised that when I had put a phone number on the DORO's contact list (my own phone number, the DORO was purchased for a friend who is hard of hearing), I had not been aware that I could put a different ring tone with that number (Ringtone 7, suitably shrill) and the DORO therefore assumed the standard ringtone put on it at the factory was the ringtone for the number (Ringtone 1, tuneful but significantly less shrill). When I subsequently changed the DORO's standard ringtone to Ringtone 7 AFTER putting in the phone number for my phone, test calls I made to the DORO from my phone repeatedly generated Ringtone 1. I realised that I should have changed the phone's standard ringtone to 7 BEFORE putting in any numbers on the contact list. Very frustrating, but ultimately logical once I'd worked out what I'd done. On the subject of the quick start guide that comes with the DORO, ironically - given the phone's visual-aid credentials - the guide is written in very smally type. I realise this is not unusual with products such as this, but maybe DORO might consider using two sheets instead of one for their quick guide - using bigger writing - and INSTEAD of the 4 additional sheets that came in the box that are written in other languages. Overall, this would cut down on the paper used whilst providing a more user-friendly quick guide I feel. Overall, this DORO Leva E10 phone is a solid-feeling, attractive-looking device with good features and a more quality-feel /better usability for people with impairments than the Nokia's. Too early to comment on reliability (my friend's only had the phone for a couple of weeks), but so far no problems reported.

Bought for my mother who has dementia. She can’t grasp the concept of anything other than a basic phone now and her Tina Nokia was just not fit for purposes anymore. The Doro offered basic functions and large buttons which was ideal . So far she has got along with ok, her words . We just keep an eye on the credit and the battery charging for her

Very BASIC mobile phone. Misleading description!
Is this really a £70 phone or a tweaked £35 phone. Yes it's 2G, 3G and 4G, it's dust and moisture resistant to a degree and yes it's simple to use. I somehow think it's a Vodafone version as it's got Vodafone internet app pre installed and yes it's ok on other networks. It took me 1 hour to install Lebara mobile data but that's probably me. I nearly took my Nokia 8210 to a charity shop as I got the Doro leva E10 for the "2MP" rear camera that Argos quoted only to find out it's a VGA (0.3MP) camera. Oh the Doro E10 is easy to lock and unlock. The phone I would recommend is the Vodafone Leva L30 flip phone. It's more teck savvy it's better made and accepts other networks. And it's camera I believe is a 3MP camera. Similar price. Both Doro phone screen time out is max 30 seconds which may not suit telephone banking. The Doro Leva L30 is my choice for the teck savvy purchaser.
