Bought this for my 8 month old, he loves the outdoors and really enjoys being out on the bike. I was worried bout getting him in and our own my own whilst balancing my bike but it’s quite easy. Pros to having a front fitted seat are I can see him and hear him as he’s closer to me however I’m not sure how long he’ll be able to use it for as when he grows he’s likely to obstruct my view.

The supplier has advised the following for the Urban Iki Front Child Bike Seat - Bincho Black:
“ The short answer is: it depends.
The long answer is that a folding bike on itself does not mean that it automatically does not fit or that it is not allowed. However, the problem with folding bikes is most of the time either 1) the diameter of the stem is very big (green arrow on picture attached) or 2) this stem is not round but will start wider on the bottom and will become smaller to the top.
So when is it allowed?
* First of all, the stem should have a cylinder shape on the place where you want to mount the adapter (so not from wide to small). So you need a perfectly round shape on some point of the stem that is around 3 cm high because that’s the space the adapter needs in height to be mounted correctly.
* The second condition is that the diameter of this stem cannot be more than 28mm ”

Yes, this should be possible.
They add the following details:
1. Has a diameter between 22 and 28 mm. This is a standard size for stems. A stem size almost never happens to deviates from this. Does the stem of your bike looks like it’s thicker? Then you may have to remove a spacer (black ring) first.
2. Has a minimum of 19 mm available in height. The compact adapter that comes standard with the front seat requires a height of 19 mm to be mounted properly. If there is less space available on your bike, please check if it is possible to remove a spacer. If this doesn’t work, you will need the MTB / ATB adapter as an accessory to mount the front seat.

The supplier has advised the following for the suitability of the Urban Iki Rear Child Bike Seat with a bike:
The frame tubing on the bike needs to be between 28mm – 38mm.
There also needs to be enough seat tube for the mounting block to be situated and clamped on, below link will show where this mounting block sits so the customer can see where it would be mounted.
Also, please check that the combined weight of the rider and the child don’t exceed the 100kg rider limit for that bike.
