I btought this to replace the previous model which had stopped working. The fan is good but not as good as the old one. The response time for the remote control is slow and you have to point it in exactly the right spot for it to work. Also the smallest amount of time is 30 minutes working time, the old one was 15 minutes.

It’s not as cooling as my last Dyson, also the rotation is very limited. I use it at night because of hot flushes, so it is disappointing for the price.
I also have a cheap standard fan on the other side of the room which is better for cooling. I’ve kept the Dyson just because I need another fan, but I wouldn’t buy it again. I prefer the old Dyson products.

A great fan, a little larger than I had expected. The night function is quiet and takes the edge off just enough. The app has little functionality and I ended up using the remote, which has such a well thought of magnetic home atop the fan when it needs to be put somewhere so as not to lose it!

I bought this a few weeks ago as a replacement, it was a great buy, easy to put together and use, it's very quiet. The fan is very good quality, it keeps the bedroom nice and cool, would fully recommend

Brilliant! Super quiet and such a relief in the hot weather, especially at night. Yes it's expensive but worth every penny. Just so much better than any other fan out there. Easy to use whether it's touching the controls on the fan itself or using the remote.
I bought this a month ago and very pleased with it, the design is good, controls easy to use also very quiet.I would recommend it to anybody , I also have a round 16" fan which is a bit noisy

As one would expect from a Dyson, the fan is modern and sleek, functions beautifully with great oscillation options. I particularly like the way one can also change the direction up or downwards. The fan itself is very quiet. So quiet in fact that the only thing I did not like was the slight whirring noise when it’s oscillating. Good airflow for a desktop fan and would recommend it 100%
Bought as a gift for a family member. They are so happy with the quality of the fan. Super cool air.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Dyson Cool CF1 Desk Fan - Silver: We would like to inform you that the Dyson Cool CF1 fan features a manual tilt function, designed for ease of use without the need for tools. To adjust the tilt, simply hold the base firmly and gently push or pull the loop amplifier (the top ring) forward or backward.
