This Bitzee interactive toy has joined the world of Harry Potter bringing you 20 characters in one pod! It requires x3 AA batteries which are included. It’s only a small toy but doesn’t look small at all and would make a great gift. I have included a video to show you the size of what you receive and give you a feel for the overall quality. If you are new to Bitzee there is an initial tutorial to get you familiar with how to get the best from this interactive toy. You can collect up to 20 characters and 23 magical objects. There are mini games, super games and film/magic moments. It’s very much like a tamagotchi in that if you don’t look after your character you could lose them by not completing required tasks. All in all a fab little toy that would delight a Harry Potter fan of any age!

Can be difficult to use
Was excited to try this out. Being a child of the 80/90s i remember the tamagotchi phase, these are bigger than them and due to the sensitive screen, close for safe keeping. They can be hard to get used to controlling but once you've figured that out its a bit easier. My son is 9 and a big HP fan so found this toy very fun!

Really cool little toy! My son already had a Disney version (now wants to collect them all!) and he loves this Harry Potter one. Has more interactive games in this one, a lot more fun. The way it works is so fascinating - bit of a see it to believe it type toy. Would recommend for any little Harry Potter Fan!

Can’t give a full 5 stars as I would hope
Arrived working but unfortunately the swipe bar wasn’t reacting so the Bitzee was stuck in ‘try me’ mode. A quick email to Spinmaster and they were able to arrange a no quibble replacement. The Bitzee is a more interactive version of a Tamagotchi, I love that they are collectible. They’re a decent size and not flimsy at all, you do need to be careful of the LED screen inside or it will not work. Highly interactive and I would recommend for children that are going to look after it so the age range of 5+ maybe should be a little higher.

The harry potter bitzee is a nice sized gadget it fits into one hand its the right volume to be able to hear the sounds. The instructions are very usefull but when flickimg the machine left or right can be a little fidgety but it just takes getting used to all in all a good toy for the kids

Modern day Tamagotchi!
The Bitzee is like a modern day tamagotchi! It feels very robust & well made even though the interactive graphics part is quite delicate. It’s not obvious how to control this straight out of the box & took us some time to & playing around with to get used to it, as I don’t feel the instructions were very clear. It can be controlled with various options - swipe, tap, tilt etc. The more you play with it & complete tasks the more characters you can unlock. It is recommended for ages 5+ however I feel this would be better suited for slightly older children as it’s not easy to navigate. It’s quite cute that you can carry your very own Harry Potter Characters around with you in your pocket to play with at any time. A feature I like is that you can pick it up at any time & you aren’t going to loose your characters if they aren’t attended too after a certain amount of time.
