I bought this item a few weeks ago and still cannot get it to connect to my mobile phone and door bell to alert me when someone rings the doorbell. Rubbish.

The Ring Chime is 2.4GHZ only, if you need a device compatible with 5GHZ then the Ring Chime Pro would be the suitable device.

The Ring Chime will work with any ring doorbell whether it is hard wired or runs on batteries.
The chime takes no power from the doorbell it plugs directly into a power outlet and connects to give you an audible notification when you are in the property.
