Bought in exasperation, but quickly overjoyed.
Very easy to use. I was using the alexa skill to have a couple of audio alerts at the further ends of the house, but the integration has become extremely buggy recently, and tends to make the doorbell get stuck in a battery draining loop live preview for 25-30 minutes per ring. So I was quite aggravated when i bought this - but to my delight, it was really straightforward to use. I added it to my top floor on a spare socket, and it's worked perfectly - onboarding was the usual ring high quality.

Great feature for ring doorbell
Great item to add to your ring doorbell. It has different chime settings including dogs barking. Plugs into electrical socket and pairs with doirbell no wires involved.

This can be used with all my Ring products and plugs easily into any mains socket. However I use it as a doorbell chime, in the hall and I can hear it easily around the house. It also works with the app on my phone so I can get notice when I am out of the house.

Ring chime
I brought this so I could hear my ring doorbell as before I often couldn’t hear it ring . It might be because I have another door before my front door. I find this great, well worth the money. You have many sounds to choose from. It was so easy to connect through my iPhone and WiFi . It’s the perfect size to plug in plus looks nice.

There isn't a quantity list of chimes, but it does state that there are classic and seasonal chimes available. These will rotate throughout the year.

The Ring Chime is 2.4GHZ only, if you need a device compatible with 5GHZ then the Ring Chime Pro would be the suitable device.

The Ring Chime will work with any ring doorbell whether it is hard wired or runs on batteries.
The chime takes no power from the doorbell it plugs directly into a power outlet and connects to give you an audible notification when you are in the property.
