Excellent head
After buying a replacement which turned out to be fake I researched where I could get a replacement at a ‘reasonable’ cost. They are really expensive but I suppose it’s relative to the cost of the shaver. It’s now back to as new and I’d also changed the battery at the same time so now it’s transformed. The cutters leave a smooth finish although I do get pretty hot skin at the end of the shave and need the cooling gel stuff.

Expensive for just the shaver head
It works ok but it's expensive, a series 9 head for the price of a new series 3 shaver, and I still have to use a bladed razor to shave the whiskers that the Braun misses. When this new head wears out I might cut my losses and buy a cheaper shaver instead.
