Smoke alarm
Smoke alarm still waiting for my husband put up. Looks good hopefully alarm is OK once up. Don't know noise level as still in packaging.

collected the heat detector when I needed a smoke alarm really. returned to store and bought a smoke alarm. I've fitted it, tested it, does what it says on the tin, just hope it's loud enough to wake me if there's a fire-not as loud as my old alarm.

As recommended by the Fire Service
Heat detectors have been recommended by the Cornwall Fire Service for kitchens and garages, and anywhere else that generates heat or stores flammable materials. I bought three and found them very easy to fix (with plugs and screws supplied) to a suitable place on the ceilings. But note that only one box had instructions in English!

Simple to fit
Appears to be an excellent little heat sensor. Fitted in seconds, in a location where cooking fumes were previously setting off the smoke detector every day. Now no problems.
