Excellent performance especially with zoom
Bought a month ago prior to a holiday in Egypt to replace an old camera. Very pleased with the performance of the camera on holiday - clear pictures and excellent zoom. There is so much more I need to find out about how to make the full potential of the camera. The online manual will be worth going through.

I slip this easily into a jacket pocket but it has a long zoom, and very capable optical stabilisation to go with it. There is a great depth of technical adjustment available through menus along with easy and accurate automatic functions. The scene presets are very good, I set mine to "freeze animal movement" when the dog is playing in the park: great results. The camera is well set up as a travel camera and produces excellent, highly printable images. It's also suitable for a hobbyist; the more you develop your photographic skills and understanding, the more you will be able to get out of a camera like this.
