Absolutely awful audio
Bought this thinking it would be good for runs and general usage. Fitting wise, the one size fits all is useless and the earpieces never sit where they are supposed to. I hangs off the back of my head with nowhere comfortable for it to sit for long periods of times Battery wise, it lasts maybe 3-4 hours of continuous useable on about 75-80% max volume. Bone conduction only setting is only available if you select the US as your region. This significantly drains the battery more. The sound quality is just god awful. I’ve heard better quality from £3 earphones from home bargains. Constantly sounds like you’re listening underwater with no actual clarity at all. All in all this is the worst nearly £200 I’ve ever spent in my whole life and I regret every second of buying it

Wow! Absolutely amazing
Absolutely brilliant, best thing I’ve bought in years. I was recommended to try these by a friend. Very comfortable and do not hurt my ears as they sit just in front. It’s great that you can stay connected to the world whilst listening to your chosen source. Be mindful of sizing. I bought standard and although a little big, I was on the borderline between standard and mini. I actually bought a second pair (mini)!to compare and line the fit of both so I’m keeping both. I wear them all day long without fatigue. Extremely satisfied with my purchase

Great for running
Bought these as a replacement for earbuds after struggling with inner ear problems. The sound quality is excellent and the bass isn't bad either. They do slightly irratate to top my ears after running in them for a while but overall a huge upgrade from buds. Great for awareness and safety as you can still hear external noises

Great headphones, just not for me
Great sounding headphones. Light and comfortable to wear, and the open ear design is fantastic. Particularly good for the office. Buttons are great. Sadly, I felt tired and dizzy when using them for prolonged periods. Outside noises sometimes drown what you are listening, so they don't work for audiobooks.

Sound
Competitive price and quicker to pick up (even better availability and delivery than Shokz) My last pair died after my kids got hold of them and everything has moved on quite a bit in 3 years since I got my last pair. From memory this is my fourth pair and they just tend to wear out if you’re using regularly ie daily. Only issue with these is the button is slightly different for changing songs or function like answering calls only a small pet peeve but if you’ve got gloves on can be a bit tricky / annoying. Everything else is great and price point is worth it in my view.

Hey Jam,
I can advise that the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 is an upgrade over the original OpenRun Pro.
Featuring DualPitch Technology (bone + air conduction) for much richer sound with deeper bass, longer 12-hour battery life (vs. 10 hours), faster quick charging (2.5 hrs vs. 1.5 hrs from 5 mins), USB-C charging (vs. proprietary cable), improved AI noise-canceling mics and Bluetooth 5.3.
Thanks for using Q&A.

Hello JDARREN76,
From the information we have available, I can advise the main difference between the Mini and Standard versions of the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones is the size of the headband. Here are some key points to help you decide:
Headband Length:
Standard Version: Suitable for head sizes with a measurement of more than 23.49cm (9.25in) from ear to ear around the back of your head.
Mini Version: Designed for head sizes with a measurement of 23.49cm (9.25in) or less. The Mini version has a shorter headband, providing a snugger fit.
Fit and Comfort:
Standard Version: Offers a more relaxed fit, which might be more comfortable for those with larger heads.
Mini Version: Provides a tighter fit, which can be beneficial for smaller heads or for those who prefer their headphones to stay closer to their head with minimal movement.
To determine your head size, you can measure the distance from the midpoint behind your left ear to the midpoint behind your right ear, following the line where the headband would sit.
