so i recently bought this and i like it very much but i dont think it compares to my actual straightener. this one is more of like a hairdryer + average straightener. Wavy and midly curly hair girls beware this ptoduct cant straighten roots!

Very poor
The airstrait is big, bulky and heavy to use. Ollowed instructions and it didn't keep my hair straight for more than a couple of hrs before going frizzy. The plug is huge (approx the size of a sandwich box) and gets hot.

3c mix race hair
I used it on my mix race 3c shoulder length hair and it worked perfectly, the first time I used it I used oil based products as hair prep. DID NOT GO WELL CAUSE LOTS OF SMOKE AND SET THE SMOKE ALARM OFF. Next time I used it I used no other products and it worked perfectly although I did have to use the dry mode on boost after using the wet mode to give me a straighter non frizzy finish. Loved this product thought and the design and technology are simply beyond advanced. After wearing my hair down for one day it got mildly frizzy and then on the second day it was not even good enough to wear out so I just re straightened using the dry mode.To make it 5 stars better higher dry mode settings could be used.
