Poor build and poor customer service
I bought the Pandora Velvet Ottoman recently, and honestly, I wish I hadn’t. It looks nice in pictures, but in reality, the quality just isn’t there.
Putting it together was a nightmare because the screw holes didn’t line up properly straight out of the box. One of them was so badly out of line that the screw wouldn’t go in at all—and it still doesn’t. I ended up having to leave that part unsecured, which is really not what you expect from a brand new piece of furniture.
The overall build and craftsmanship are pretty disappointing too. It feels flimsy and cheap, definitely not what you’d expect for the price. For something this expensive, I was expecting a lot better quality and attention to detail.
To make matters worse, Argos customer service was poor. They offered to replace the item, but by that point I had already built it (minus the unusable screw hole, because that was the only way to assemble it). It had taken a while to put together, and they wouldn’t collect it in its assembled state. There was no realistic way I could dismantle the whole thing and then build it again—especially with a newborn and a toddler, I simply don’t have that kind of time.
All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. It’s way too expensive for what you get, and there are definitely better options out there.

Great Product
