Like the wide slots. Only minus is that from cold, bread is a little unevenly toasted - subsequent slices get better!

Great little Toaster. DELIVERY was great. Good price. works well. The added tong is very handy. It may struggle with think bread.

I bought this then took it straight back for a refund .. Toasts one side and the biggest puzzle is why a slice of sliced Warbertons bread sticks out of the top by 25%.. my recommendation is do not buy this toaster .

its a Toaster
It's a toaster ! I am a little disappointed with it, it is what the description says "wide slot" but it certainly isn't deep slot ! it's not deep enough to take a standard slice of a standard loaf it sticks out at the top and doesn't get toasted. Dependant on the loaf you can sometimes pop them in sideways at a push but obviously it was not designed that way. The toast setting are a little weak at the lower end so if you want real toast its up to the top end or toast the bread twice. I started with it is a toaster and it is but it small and a little weak.

Great toaster, great features.
Such a nice toaster. I only bought about a month ago and enjoyed using it since. It has wide handle for getting toast in which, I'm hoping, won't be as easy to break as the smaller ones. The tongs are magnetic so you can put it either side. It's great and I highly recommend it.

Poor design
Terrible design, a standard slice of bread sticks out the top of the toaster by at least 20 mm if not more and does not toast, when using fresh bread the slot is not wide enough, the tongs shell I have no idea what they are for as you have plenty sticking out of the toaster even while toasting to get hold of. I guess this was made for non uk markets where a slice of bread is much smaller. Go for the cook works model instead takes a slice of bread with ease and I think better quality

The toaster can be used on all types of bread.
No it does not have a defrost setting, however you can defrost bread on a low setting.
