The Argos Home Modular Gaming Desk gives you a dedicated workspace where everything's within reach and properly organised. It's designed with an elevated top shelf that holds two monitors, so you can keep multiple screens at eye level without cluttering the main work surface. The metal-plated mesh boards on the sides maximise airflow around your computer tower, preventing overheating during long gaming sessions. Cable management cubby holes at the back keep wires tidy and out of sight.
There's a drawer with metal runners for easy gliding, a storage cupboard, and four shelves including three adjustable ones, so you can arrange your kit, games and accessories at heights that suit you. The oak effect and grey finish keeps things neutral and works in bedrooms or home offices. It's also practical for homework or working from home when you're not gaming. Wall-mounting fixings required for stability if you're placing it in homes with children, as it stands over 60cm high. Self-assembly needed, two people recommended.

Spacious area Ideal For Work and Play
A desk I had my eye on for quite a while and when the price was reduced in the sale, was the motivation to buy it. Assembling was very straight forward having thoroughly studied the instructions before beginning. I'm very pleased with this desk and suits my needs entirely.

Beautiful desk, tiring build but worth it!
I love this desk, it looks very smart and not too "gamer-y" at all. It's huge with tons of space for my monitors at the top. Unfortunately my pc was too big to fit under the shelf, make sure you measure the space before screwing the shelf in! I just slotted the spare shelf into the opposite side like another reviewer did. Building it was quite the ordeal, especially on my own. With the help of other reviews and making sure I read the instructions carefully I managed it in about 5 hours. I did dislike that the final step involves placing the entire top wooden section onto the metal legs/shelves. You then have to somehow match up the holes from underneath without being able to see them, and then screw them in one quarter turn at a time as there is no space to turn the Allen key any more than that. This was a bit of a bummer at the end of a long build but I managed eventually.

There was screws missing, the product had chips and scratches in display, not very happy for the money i paid , got no decent response from customer service, they didn’t want to know or do anything about it,

Solid Table - good for many uses
Well made, solid and sturdy, it is easy to use a PC, write, and store items within its many compartments. Would absolutely recommend, however it is a bit of a struggle to assemble, and the metal pieces are of lower quality - but still usable, and good value for money.

Good product, a few things that could be improved
I bought this a month ago and am very happy with the end result. As other reviewers have mentioned, the assembly is slightly more difficult and less easy to follow than an IKEA product, but I completely disagree with some reviewers saying that it takes an entire day to assemble - the most difficult part if making sure to place the metal frames correctly outwards, in which the instructions could be clearer. Having said that, there were also a couple of pilot holes missing from one of the pieces, but this was not insurmountable to sort. On the positive side, it's great that the assembly gives you flexibility to configure the drawers in a way that works for you. Overall, I would say that this is a great setup as a workstation and gaming desk. I would caution those of you who have desktop computers to measure up the height versus the drawer sizes in advance of purchasing. The desk tidy at the top is great for extender cables or other wires (e.g. phone chargers) that you may want to use. The size is also perfect for writing and using a computer at the same time.

Although, it would be possible to build without adding the top hutch we would always recommend to assemble to it final position. Please note: there will be pre-drilled holes visible on the table top where the hutch would normally fit.

Yes, it is a cupboard with a flip up door. The internal dimension is (width) 480mm x (depth) 220mm x (height) 103mm, however, please also note that the height is 80mm only when the door is flipped up. Without knowing the size and specs of your keyboard, we cannot confirm if it’d fit but we’d advise to check these specs against those of the keyboard.

Yes, you can remove the monitor stand it does not contribute to the structural requirements of the Home Modular 1 Drawer Gaming Desk - Oak Effect & Black, and you wouldn't have to take the whole thing apart, however the drill holes would be visible.
