Had a little trouble connecting it to my iMac but found a YouTube video and managed to do it. Louder than my iMac which is why I wanted to purchase. The base and treble is so much I use at 2-3 lights and it’s enough. Battery life is good so far. It’s a Usbc-usbc cable provided. I use the big Apple plug and it charges quick. If I was picky I’d like it to sound a little more 360 surround sound like it suggests.

Extremely poor battery life
I bought this speaker as I already own the wierd version which is excellent but wanted to be able to have the same sound quality but also on the move and not having to constantly have the speaker plugged in so I purchased the kilburn iii based on its fully wireless operation. however despite claims that the battery life can last 50 hours ➕️ hence why I bought the speaker i found the battery life to be very disappointing lasting between 2 - 5 hours maximum depending on the volume/ bass which in my opinion for £299 shouldn't be the case. Overall the speaker has fantastic sound but due to the extremely poor battery life I returned it 😢

Great sound, depth n range from quality speaker
Bought the Marshall Kilburn III for Xmas to entertain the aged parents on ‘the day’ . Having had previous Marshall speakers-notably Woburn III and Emberton I was v impressed by the sound range and presence. I’ve a very dedicated music set up way in excess of the size of my home and have always used Bluetooth or wireless speakers as my normal day to day sounds. I’ve had Sonos, Audiolab, Jbl and Marshall speakers over the years and the Kilburn III is way and above the best. Sound is actually better than the Woburn, which is not portable, the build quality is outstanding, the battery life even more so. The Marshall app is easy to use and you’ve the range of placement and eq settings. I’d recommend the Kilburn III to everyone looking for a wide, dynamic sounding wireless speaker that’s not excessively large , but has the sound quality of something that’ is . Build quality and style are absolutely top notch.

Yes, the strap uses the same connecting process as a Guitar strap. You can fast charge when using a higher rated power adapter.

Indeed 5W is slow charging, it is better to avoid fast charging option to preserve battery life of speaker.
The charging cable should be included with the speaker.''
