Simple and fun set for all ages
Great simple set for young Marvel fans! Love the detail of the different iron man suits, was fairly simple to build not too many components and the playability is much better than some sets, due to the scene it’s not as fragile as some and great fun to reenact scenes from avengers and iron man films. By 11 year old loves playing with this. Instructions were easy to follow for him and it didn’t take too long so he didn’t get impatient to play. Definitely one of our top ten sets in the film range :)

Great for any marvel fan!
This Lego set is very simple to build, the age rating is perfect, my 11 year old did it with ease, nice little play set when it’s built up the little figures are great representations to play and recreate scenes from the film!

Cool set!
This lego set is a must have for any marvel fans! Once built this can be added to other lego sets to make your own marvel world! My 7 year old loved building this and the characters that came with it too.

Another great lego product
This lego set does not dissapoint. As usual the set comes with easy to follow instructions. Seperate packaging for each step . My 11 yr old is a massive marvel fan so this was perfect for him. Took him a little longer than usual but still completed it in good time. Had had quite a few hours of fun plating with the set since building.

Amazing Lego Marvel
The first thing I noticed with this Lego set is (and this is the very first set I’ve had like this) that there is no way to open the box without damaging it. Instead of being able to gently peel open 1 of the ends in order to keep the box intact, this box has 2 areas marked with thumbs where you push down and pull the box open, now if this is for someone who is just going to throw the box away, then it won’t be a problem, however, if you’re like me and like to keep the boxes in as near perfect condition as possible, then this part of the set may disappoint. Regarding the set itself , I’ve only finished the first set of instructions so far, the parts no longer come in clear plastic bags, they are now in white paper bags, good for the planet, not good if you’re trying to work out if the missing part is still in the bag or if it’s on the floor somewhere and also not good for those who again, want to keep the packaging to as perfect as possible. This set has a lot of very small parts and a lot of fiddly bits and where the instructions are very easy to follow, I actually went wrong on a couple of occasions because I was looking for something that wasn’t needed. That’s about the only downsides to this set, I think younger children will definitely need a bit of a hand but that’s not the end of the world, I would definitely recommend building this set on a white or very light surface as it will make it easier to see all of the small parts. It also comes with 5 mini figures , some of which I think might only ever come available with this specific set so that’s a bonus. I’m actually looking forward to building the rest of the set now that I’ve got the most fiddliest 1 out of the way.

A great Lego Marvel set.
Excellent Marvel Lego creation, sets out Tony Starks, Iron Man complex in an excellent little set. 3 seperate units, each with a posable mini figure. Two even fire little missiles. Really enjoyable set, just right for constructing and playing with. This is an excellent set, and kids really liked building it.

Brilliant marvel set
Lovely set with a not too complex build, I think the 8+ rating is appropriate. Comes with 5 minifigures with lots of interactive parts to optimise play. This set would be a great addition any marvel set or a for an iron man fan. Very easy to follow instructions and includes some stickers to attach to some parts of the build.

Minifigures make up for such a small set!
My son said this set has some cool features and amazing detail. You get 5 awesome figures including Pepper Potts and Aldrich which is brilliant. My son said he would have liked it if they had some fire pieces that Aldrich could shoot/hold and look like he is shooting them. Also it would have been good if iron man patriot had an angrier face on the other side of the face they gave him. It didn't take long for my son to build and the instructions were lovely and clear, as usual from Lego. Each bag can be recycled. My son has enjoyed this set but not as much as previous sets, There's just not alot inside this set but the figures are awesome as he mentioned above. He has used his own lego to build around it and made a jail for Aldrich. So he has let his imagination improve what little there is. He has already put it in his Lego unit and he hasn't played much with it since building it. He is 13 and this set just wasn't as fun as other sets he has had. The main thing he loved in this set was definitely the minifigures. Which makes it all worth it.

Minifigures galore fun not so much
I’d like to get one thing straight from the start. I am a huge fan of Lego. I think it’s the best toy ever made, and I have a very large collection. However, this is the worst and least enjoyable Lego set I have ever built. Let’s start with the good points, although there aren’t many. It’s nice to see Lego’s full transition to paper bags, making the sets more environmentally friendly. One instruction pamphlet per bag means you can build the sets in bite-sized time, allowing enjoyment over a longer period. There are plenty of mini-figures with cool touches. The blue screen face on Ironman Mk43 is a nice touch, and the complete blue face on Ironman Mk6 is also cool. It took 15 minutes to build the first bag. It took 30 minutes to build the second bag, and it took 15 minutes to build the 3rd bag. So, all in all, an hour. It is only made of 384 pieces! Using stickers for see-through surfaces was very difficult to apply straight, if not impossible. As if applied wrong, it is much more obvious on a clear surface. Also, if you have to reapply the sticker, smudges and fingerprints are so much more noticeable on a clear surface. Printed bricks should have been used. The mech isn’t fun to build. The best part and the smoothest part was building the mech’s arms. The Ironman chambers are boring and repetitive to build. The magical thing about Lego sets is they have this ability to leave you with the funnest part right at the end, but in this case, it was fixing 3 separate stickers. The only reason to buy this set is for the mini-figures, but as for the build, it actually made me sad.
