Strong machine as I'd expected, don't like the plastic bobbins the top loaded shuttle and plastic cover, the needle threader!! The top thread system not good either, and bobbin winder won't fill bobbins full even after adjustment. Why did singer mess around with things, machines used to last forever, this will keep needing replaced plastic parts!

Great machine, has worked well for what I’ve needed it for so far. I find it to be slightly on the bulky side around the needle, which might be annoying for some projects, but other than all good!

works brill for my use, Only 1 downside Needle position on straight stitch does NOT go to centre, does move somewhat but not centralised unless you put on zigzag etc

So far so good. I needed a strong heavy duty sewing machine for upholstery to sew through layers of thick fabric. I also wanted it to do general sewing and be portable, this seems to fit the bill.
It is a basic machine which I wanted and comes with a zipper foot aswell as the standard one. My needs are simple and I understand the machine!
