Fantastic Camera!
Everyone knows RING offer fantastic products. I cannot be happier with the quality of the product, the ease of a removal battery and the price of the subscription for multiple cameras. It has made my life feel so much safer with these around my property.

Useful addition to my Ring doorbell cam
I’m generally very happy with the camera. It has quite a good angle of view and covers the front of my house perfectly. The only issue is that I keep getting messages to say that the camera has lost power, when in fact it is plugged in and working fine. I used to get messages to say the battery is low but I don’t have a battery, just mains power. Where I have it on my garage, the wifi signal is poor, however it still functions well. Overall, I’m very happy with it.

Camera
Bought a house camera thr picture in the day is marvellous but in the night can't really see as it to be too dark for a good quality.

poor installation design
You can not install this externally unless you have an external socket otherwise you will be drilling a ridiculously big hole in the wall to get the poorly designed and thick charging cable through.

Hello there,
Yes, to enable 24/7 continuous recording on the Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In (3rd Gen), you will need the Ring Protect Home Premium Plan.
Here's what you need to know:
24/7 Recording is a new feature available only on select Ring cameras, including the Stick Up Cam Plug-In (3rd Gen) when it's plugged in continuously.
This feature requires a Ring Protect Home Premium subscription—the standard Basic or Plus plans do not support 24/7 recording.
Recordings are stored in the cloud for up to 14 days, and you can download them if you want to keep them longer.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello There,
The Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In (3rd Gen) is designed for easy setup and use, but it typically comes with a plug-in adapter for power rather than direct wiring to a mains socket.
Direct wiring to a mains socket isn't typically recommended or supported for this model.
Thank you for using Q&A

Hello Han,
I can advise the following for the Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In 3rd Gen CCTV - Black:
Providing night vision is turned off this will work, however with it on you will get a halo where the night vision IR is bouncing off the window back to the lens.
Thanks for using Q&A.
You can pay for an subscription from ring that will allow a 24 7 recording and as long as you have the app on a suitable device like a smart tv then this can be viewed live at anytime as well as recording 24 hours a day
Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In 3rd Gen Security Camera - Black: The camera will only record when there's any motion detection. It won't record 24\7.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hi Sgb
The Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In 3rd Gen Security Camera - Black has two power cords.
When the two cords are combined together, the length is a little bit over 20 feet in total.
The first cord is a slightly over 6 feet long. It has a custom-fit jack that inserts into the back of the Stick-up cam. The other end of this cord has a small, weather-proof electrical transformer that accepts an adapter. This transformer already comes with the 2-bladed-power adapter clicked securely in place.
The second cord is a slightly over 14 feet long. It has an adapter that can connect into the 6-foot cord's transformer.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Nikki,
After checking with the supplier, I can confirm that it would depend on what the width of the gap is for the wiring to go through as the wiring could be compromised on this Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In 3rd Gen Security Camera. Ring advise either installing inside or creating holes for the wiring to be passed through.
Ring also stated looking at some of their wireless products.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Chris123,
I can advise the following for the Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In 3rd Gen Security Camera - Black:
There is a detachable cable from the rear of the camera. This can then be fed through a hole in the wall to allow you to connect it to the mains.
Thanks for using Q&A.
It’s a while since I fitted mine but you can attach the mount to the back of it. It can’t be mounted upside down though say from the soffit.
I cannot remember if it is hard wired at the camera but I’m pretty sure it has a jack on the plug end. I hope that helps a little.
Hello Se,
I can advise the following on the Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In 3rd Gen Security Camera:
Yes, it has a ball joint connection on both the stand and the wall mount options to allow a small degree of tilt.
Thanks for using Q&A.
You can mount it from underneath (as it is pictured) or you can mount it from the back, I used this method. I can’t remember if it tilts.
One thing you can’t do is mount it upside down (as you can with the internal one) which is a shame.
