The supplier has confirmed. The Argos Home Devon Fabric Single Headboard is not fire retardant. According to the regulations, fabric used for upholstery does not need to meet fire standards and does not require a fire rating. Therefore, it is not chemically treated for fire retardancy.

When attaching to a Divan, there will be holes in the bed base that the bolts go into. The grooved struts then go in between the bolt and washer and Divan. Fit the headboard to the height of the mattress and then tighten the bolt.

Argos Home Devon Fabric Single Headboard - Grey
Headboards are usually fixed to the bed by special bolts (supplied with the bed, not the headboard) which would pass through a fixing point, in this case the struts on the headboard. The UK standard measurement between these points for a single bed is approximately 61cm.
