Great basic all-rounder oven
Takes 1 minute to set up out of the box and plug into a standard 3-point wall socket. Didn't smell too much on first heating up - the booklet recommends heating to 250 degrees for one hour to get rid of the 'newness' stink and it worked. Comes with two racks which is always a bonus and the usual oven tray. Takes about 8-10 minutes to heat up to 180 degrees. Timer is super easy to work and understand. Nothing too fancy with regards to complicated options, which is what I wanted (honestly if this thing ever experiences any baking, it will be a miracle). But I like to make pasta bakes, Sunday roasts and heat up freezer food etc, and this will do that just fine. I also wanted it to be simple enough for my teenagers to be able to learn to use should they ever (ever) decide to become more independent. Good clear bleep when the time is up on cooking. The only thing I'd change is that I would have preferred the notch on the dial be raised AND have a white dot or stripe on it. Currently it only has a raised stripe so if the kitchen isn't fully bright it's not 100% clear whether you've turned the dial around to the right temperature. The thing I really like? The dials have a raised pattern on the sides. Just adds a dash of panache that makes it look a bit more expensive. Overall, recommended if you're not nurturing aspirations of becoming the next Gordon Ramsey.

To good for the money
Replaced my old oven with the Hotpoint as nd it really is a dream come true fan assisted so my cakes cook in two shelves all cooked in the same time evenly lots of settings that are sensible and easy to use.then the oven self cleans as well.this oven is a great choice and really cheep for what you get I highly recommend it
