Mostly great with minor caveats
Been using these for around about a month ... Great headphones, they have a much more interesting sound when EQ'd properly and have fantastic noise cancelling .... Ear pads were slightly disappointing though and felt too thin so I ended up switching them out with some from Wicked cushions after only a week of having the headphones. After this change I can find no fault with these for a casual on the go listen experience I've also really found the transparency mode to be excellent and the gesture of holding your hand on the right ear cup to lower volume and temporarily activate the transparency to be great when needing to quickly say a couple words to someone without needing to pause the music

Most importantly, the comfort just isn’t there
Very slight improvment on the previous model XM5 in sound and noise reduction Actually less comfortable to wear than the XM5 The swivle makes the heaband all over the place which does actually badly impact the comfort The Ear muffs are awful unless you have very small ears after a short while your ears will hurt from the small enclosure. The build quality is, at best, just okay — and for the price, it honestly feels disappointing. I’ve continued using Sony mainly because their sound quality and noise-cancelling have traditionally been top-tier. However, even those advantages may not be enough to keep me loyal in the future, especially as competing brands are rapidly closing the gap in both areas. If Sony releases an XM7, I don’t see myself purchasing it. All of the issues I’ve experienced so far make the product difficult to justify. Most importantly, the comfort just isn’t there. The design doesn’t seem to accommodate people with larger heads or even those with average-sized ears. After extended use, the fit becomes uncomfortable, and that alone is enough to make me reconsider staying with the lineup. At this point, unless Sony addresses these long-standing problems, I’ll likely move on to other options.

The sound quality is great and the noise cancellation. So far I haven't been able to use it to answer calls but maybe I just dont know how. Overall I love them

insane upgrade deffo recommend
BEST HEADPHONES IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, i had the xm4 previously and loved them but the ambient sound was sub-par, you could hear those around you but cant really make out what they’re saying if you have music playing even super quietly. these excel in all areas. a very important upgrade, sony you’ve done it again, i don’t know how they keep topping themselves.

Very good ,im coming from the jbl 720 BT and wow , I never knew sound quality could get better, plus I love all the new features like the ambient sound and noise cancelation. However, the noise cancelation doesn't really cancel out much of the noise unless I put my music at like 60% , but regardless, very nice headphones
