I bought this Samsung microwave after reading the reviews...and it does not disappoint. Easy to use with helpful pre-programmed settings. It's a super addition to any kitchen. Not too big so fits in smaller spaces but does the job. Absolutely love it and so glad that I purchased it from Argos at a very reasonable price. Fabulous!!!

You dont have to use the 30 sec button to set the cooking times.
Just Select the appropriate power level by
pressing the Up or Down button. And then press the Select/Clock button. Set the cooking time by pressing the Up
or Down button.

Yes, you can set the defrost time yourself; by choosing the power level and the time you want to use it for.
There is a quick defrost option too,
The Quick Defrost features enable you to defrost meat, poultry, fish, frozen vegetable and frozen bread.
The defrost time and power level are set automatically.
You simply select the programme and the weight.

Once you unplug the mw you will have to reset the clock as it defaults to 12.00 on the 24h clock. If you dont need the clock just press eco bottom button..the clock disappears.

I can advise that, no you would not need to reset the microwave clock each time it is unplugged. You would only need to reset the clock on your microwave after you perform a hard reset.
