Super quick snd easy to clean
Only had this microwave for about a couple of weeks now. Love the child lock and deodorisation features. The heating time is super quick and it's easy to clean. Would have given it 5 stars of it came with the full manual/guide as you have to go online to get that

No Light while food is cooked
this microwave is fine, does its basic job of microwaving, it has got light bulb but you can only see the light if the door is open, if the door is closed you cant see the food inside while its being war/cooked because of some coating on the door so if light bulb is important then its not for you.

A GREAT STANDARD MICROWAVE WHICH IS SIMPLE TO USE
A lovely simple to use microwave. We had a different make before that which had a dial to select time/power. It became problematic, taking ages to select the setting you wanted. We bought this because it has NO dials. You use buttons or presets to select the time and power. It heats/cooks well and is easy to clean. I can't comment on the 'deodourisation' function as I haven't used that yet. It looks smart in the kitchen. It does have a light but as some other reviewers have said, it doesn't show up the food cooking as the door is too heavily tinted but it is easy to check on the food, you just open the door and the microwave stops. Check on your food and away you go again. I love this microwave but the only gripe I have is that the paper operating manual that comes with it, is very, very basic and does not cover all of the operations of the microwave. You have to use the QR Code on the manual or the appliance itself to download a full copy of the operation manual in PDF form. I could do that but not everyone is connected to the internet or is able to do this. All manufacturers seem to be going down this route but I don't necessary agree with it.

Really nice looking microwave which I bought 2 weeks ago and have only used to heat microwave meals. I read lots of reviews for different brands and was wanting a microwave where you could see the plate going around or if you were heating milk you want to see inside. I can confirm that you cannot with this machine, well not clearly. Why are so many brands doing this now? It’s pointless. If I hadn’t desperately needed the microwave, I would have returned it for that reason alone. Do not buy this microwave if seeing inside the Machine while it’s in use is important to you.

My microwave broke so I ordered this one online that evening, and it came the next morning. Just an overnight wait, whilst I slept! So no wait at all really. The microwave is really stylish and durable looking, much more so than my last microwave which was not a Samsung. You can't really go wrong with Samsung, always looks smart, always looks durable, always looks modern in the house, and always does the job perfectly, so i tend to find that choosing Samsung takes away the hours of humming and harring over what will be good or not... they're just always good, and its that simple. I chose the absolute cheapest microwave on their website because it was an unplanned purchase, and its still a premium build with great performance - that's the Samsung way it seems.

I bought this microwave to replace my old rusty one and this is a) a Samsung, b) has a ceramic inside that won’t rust, c) has more programmed than my old microwave such as deodorisation, soften and melt and finally d) it was reduced in the sale and I was given a gift card for Argos. Based on the product details, it will not fit. The microwave has a 28.8cm turntable, and a 12-inch dinner plate is about 30.5cm across. It also lists internal dimensions of H21.1 x W33 x D32.4cm, but the turntable is still the main limiting factor, so a 12-inch plate is unlikely to fit comfortably.

You dont have to use the 30 sec button to set the cooking times.
Just Select the appropriate power level by
pressing the Up or Down button. And then press the Select/Clock button. Set the cooking time by pressing the Up
or Down button.

Yes, you can set the defrost time yourself; by choosing the power level and the time you want to use it for.
There is a quick defrost option too,
The Quick Defrost features enable you to defrost meat, poultry, fish, frozen vegetable and frozen bread.
The defrost time and power level are set automatically.
You simply select the programme and the weight.

Once you unplug the mw you will have to reset the clock as it defaults to 12.00 on the 24h clock. If you dont need the clock just press eco bottom button..the clock disappears.

I can advise that, no you would not need to reset the microwave clock each time it is unplugged. You would only need to reset the clock on your microwave after you perform a hard reset.
