Don’t know how I’ve survived without this mop
Amazing, my floors have never looked cleaner. I have 2 dogs with tiles and hard wood floor as the main thoroughfare. When it is winter there can be lots of muddy footprints left which this mop just wipes up with ease. I really don’t know why I’ve been using a mop and bucket for so long this is a far superior clean. I think the product is quite sturdy and robust. It’s easy to use and live that the mop pads are washable.

Easy to set up pit of the box. Easy to get water bottle off and fill/replace. No on/off switch just plug in and it's on. Leave a minute to heat, pump the handle one or three times and away you go. As using going forward you tend to pump the handle with out realizing. Good size mat, not a small funny shape thing like on other brands. Didn't require one that takes apart for other items of steaming so this fits the bill nicely. Plus not as noisy as others.

Good mop
A good basic mop just a bit of a struggle to remove the waterr container. Still, does the job it was bought for. A couple of extra pads would be useful.

So easy to use
As I'm getting older, it's getting more difficult to get up after kneeling on the floor to wash them. This is a game changer, it's so easy to use. And because it uses steam to clean, the floors dry off very quickly. I'm so pleased with my new purchase, I wish I'd bought it a long time ago.

We can confirm that this steam mop is suitable for most people suffering from arthritis. However, depending on the severity of the condition, the manual pumping mechanism can cause mild discomfort or tiredness. Otherwise, the steam mop is not heavy, and it is easy to carry around and use.
The surface where the Shark S1000UK was used may feel slightly damp at first, but it will dry quickly due to the heat of the steam.

Yes, on sealed tile and sealed grout the S1000UK can help lift dirt from grout lines, though very caked grout may need a grout brush for full restoration. Use only on sealed hard floors, patch test first, and do not hold the mop in one spot or scrub one area for an extended time.
