Disappointing Performance – Not Worth the £60 Pric
Extremely disappointing for £60 – more inconvenient than a conventional mop I paid £60 for this Shark steam mop, expecting a quality product that would make cleaning quicker and more effective. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with both its performance and value for money. The steam output, pressure and focused cleaning performance are particularly poor. In everyday use, I have actually found it more inconvenient and frustrating than using a conventional mop, which completely defeats the purpose of paying £60 for a steam cleaner. I wanted to return the product and still have my Argos receipt/proof of purchase by email. Unfortunately, I was so confident that a Shark product at this price would perform well that I recycled the original packaging. Had I waited until properly testing it, I would certainly have kept the box and returned it. For £60, I expected strong and consistent steam, effective cleaning pressure and a noticeably easier cleaning experience. Instead, I feel I have paid a premium price for a product that makes a basic household task more inconvenient, not less. Very disappointing value for money. I expected considerably better from Shark.

Amazing MOP
*5 stars - Game changer for cleaning* This Shark S1000UK steam mop has made cleaning so much quicker and easier. I love that it doesn’t need any cleaning products - just water and the steam does all the work. It sanitizes as it cleans which is great with kids and pets in the house. The mop head is washable and reusable, it’s really lightweight, and it leaves floors dry in minutes with no streaks. Assembly took 2 minutes and it’s so easy to empty and refill. My favorite thing is how shiny my kitchen floor looks after one pass. Definitely worth the money!

My first Shark product
It was so easy to order, it was my first shark product, I cannot be more happier with it, it keeps my floor clean, the only downside is the repetitive pumping of the steam handle to get it to steam, other than that it is really quick and easy to assemble. Also buy distilled water as it works better with the machine and won’t clog the jets.
