Definitely NOT disappointed
I had my last beard trimmer for about six years and I was aware that it was not doing a good job so after a lot of research I found this one on the Argos website. Reviews were all very positive and the price extremely competitive. This is an excellent replacement. Light to handle,great length settings and easy to access all parts of my beard.

Results a bit disappointing
It works & seems well made. The instructions are dreadful and if you've never used a beard trimmer before the end result looked very uneven. The setting scale is a totally mystery as there are two (I assume for other Attachments but no indication which is for which.)

Regarding the Braun BT 5500 Series 5 Beard Trimmer I can confirm the trimmer can trim very close to the skin at 0.5 mm, which is ideal for stubble or a clean, sharp look without going fully clean-shaven.

I can advise that the Braun BT 5500 Series 5 Beard Trimmer is supplied with a plug designed to be used in a shaver socket which is a UK safety regulation. You may purchase a 3-pin adapter to use in a standard socket.
