About this product
The Silentnight Merlin Headboard gives you comfortable support when you sit up in bed to read, relax or settle in with a cup of tea. It's upholstered in soft charcoal fabric that feels gentle against your back and adds a touch of warmth to your bedroom. Deep vertical lines run across the padded surface, creating a textured look that catches the light. The seashell-shaped top adds a contemporary edge to a familiar classic design. It fits a single bed and works with most frame styles.
Standard fixings come included, along with support struts that attach the headboard securely to your bed frame. Two people make assembly easier, and everything you need is provided. The fabric handles everyday contact well and keeps its appearance over time. It's lightweight enough to move around when you're rearranging, but the struts keep it stable once fitted. Two examples delivered - both damaged
I bought this headboard but was disappointed in it's condition when delivered. It would appear that had been stored on top of it leaving a crushed straight stripe which wasn't budging after several hours. I arranged a replacement to find that the second one was worse. Taking a deeper look it seems that someone at the warehouse is stacking these on top of each other and being so heavy, it is the legs of the h/board above that are crushing the one below. I decided therefore that further replacement would be pointless and got a refund. Shame as they are good looking and nice quality.

Wow this is a lovely headboard bigger than I thought but really pleased with this the charcoal colour and shape is just as described I purchased this to go with the bed base of the same colour,this is comfortable when resting head back whilst reading looks like it will last a long time .

The heads up on this FANtastic headboard it’s good
I wanted to buy myself a new headboard, the only place I wanted to look was Argos. I found exactly what I was looking for and at the right price too! Everything was straight forward, I had to change my delivery day, which was not a problem! The delivery men phoned me to say they could deliver my headboard to me early, not a problem. They were both very friendly and very helpful. So I will definitely use Argos to purchase future orders (as I have previously with much happiness!!) Thank you Argos!!
